Aus irgendeinem Grund wird das genannte Multifunktionsgerät nicht als Scanner erkannt.
Der Samsung Unified Linux Driver (suld-driver-4.00.39) ist installiert, das Gerät (als Drucker) erkannt. Aber Simple Scan gibt eine Fehlermeldung.

Aber sane-find-scanner will davon nichts wissen:

Ich wage jetzt mal die steile Behauptung, dass das was mit der Fehlermeldung in Zeile 10 zu tun hat. Weiß jemand die Lösung?
(P.S.: Der Scanner funktioniert mit einem anderen Computer [14.04 beta], also kann es kein Hardware-Problem sein)
