Ich habe Kubuntu 14.04 vor ein paar Tagen neu installiert. Eben wollte ich erstmals den Ton testen und habe ein Youtube-Video gestartet. Da der Ton recht leise (aber vorhanden!) war, habe ich unter Systemeinstellungen > Multimedia mal geschaut. Vielleicht ist das Problem entstanden, weil ich einmal in Einstellungen für das Phono-Multimedia-Framework auf Voreinstellungen geklickt habe? 😳 Jedenfalls kann ich jetzt zum Laptop (auch Kubuntu 14.04, 64bit) keinen systematischen Unterschied in den Einstellungen feststellen:
Für alle Audio-Wiedergabe-Kategorien ist die Einstellung 1. Internes Audio Analog Stereo und 2. HDA NVidia Digital Stereo (HDMI). Am PC sind beide beim Test stumm, beim Laptop höre ich mit Internes Audio Analog Stereo eine Tonfolge aus den internen Boxen. Dass unter Einrichtung der Audio-Hardware für die Soundkarte HDA NVidia und das Profil Digital Stereo (HDMI) Ausgang nichts zu hören ist, ist klar, denn ich nutze nicht den HDMI-Ausgang aber bei Internes Audio und dem Profil Analog Stereo Duplex kommt auch nichts beim Probehören. Als Backend ist GStreamer eingestellt.
An der Verkabelung kann es nicht liegen, denn ich habe zwischendurch auch mal Windows gebootet und da kam Ton.
Wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, werden die Karte von ALSA erkannt und das Soundsystem nimmt die Daten entgegen:

Mich irritiert Zeile 5/6, ich bin nicht Mitglied von Audio? Andererseits bin ich es auf dem Laptop auch nicht und da habe ich Ton.
Und warum fehlen so viele Dateien?
