Hi, ich nutze Lubuntu 14.10 auf einen ASUS Eee PC 1015P. Mein Problem ist, dass der Akku immer ziemlich schnell leer ist. Das liegt wahrscheinlich daran, dass der Bildschirm immer auf 100% Helligkeit läuft. Das Regulieren über die Energieoptionen (z.B. ab 2 Min Inaktivität nur 50%) funktioniert nicht.
Die Helligkeit via xbacklight -set 80 ändert auch nichts Die FN-Tasten haben ein ganz seltsames Verhalten: Es wird beim Drücken der Tasten-Kombi rechts oben ein "Sonnen Symbol" Angezeigt, mit einer Stufenregelung. Betätige ich die FN-Tasten, ändern sich die Stufen, aber an der Helligkeit selber ändert sich nichts. Habe schon versucht es mit den GRUB Eintrag zu ermöglichen (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1726024, was aber auch nix gebracht hat. Meine Frage lautet also: Was kann ich noch versuchen, um die Bildschirm Helligkeit regulieren zu könne? Idealerweise via FN-Tasten ☺

Ich gehe davon aus, dass du nach dem Ändern der /etc/default/grub auch sudo update-grub2 ausgeführt und einen Neustart gemacht hast? Das verschweigt der gute Mann im anderen Forum nämlich.

Das müsste eigentlich funktionieren, weil du eine Intel-Grafik drin hast. Also was genau hast du wo genau und wie genau eingetragen? /boot/grub/grub.cfg neu schreiben lassen mit dem Befehl sudo update-grub ? cat /etc/default/grub
cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg diese Abfragen bitte im Terminal ausführen und die Ausgaben komplett im Code-Block formatiert posten.

OK du hast alles richtig gemacht, die Bootoptionen sind in der grub.cfg beim Aufruf des Kernel drin. Versuche jetzt mal das, was unter Grafikkarten/Intel (Abschnitt „Helligkeitsprobleme“) für die X11-Konfiguration vorgeschlagen wird. Falls das nicht klappen sollte, dann hab ich noch was im Ärmel, mit dem wenigstens eine geringere Helligkeit vorgegeben werden kann. 😉

Dankeschön bowman ☺ Erst der Abschnitt "X11 Konfiguration" hat die Lösung gebracht. Ich kann nun per FN+F5/F6 die Helligkeit von Aus (ganz schwarz) bis ganz Hell regulieren ^.^ Die Frage dir mir jetzt noch bleibt... soll ich die bisherigen Lösungsansätze, z.B. die Einträge aus der grub-conf wieder rückgängig machen, oder kann ich die so belassen?

Lass die Bootoptionen drin. Die bewirken ja mit der X11-Konfiguration zusammen, dass die FN-Tasten angesprochen werden. Schön, dass es jetzt funktioniert. 👍
