nun hat es mich auch erwischt 😊
Ich möchte gerne Ubuntu 14.04 LTS als Homeserver installieren.
Ich habe im moment meinen alten PC mit openmediavault 1.17 laufen welches aber wegen fehlender Möglichkeiten nun Ubuntu weichen muß.
Den Homeserver nutze ich wie folgt:
1.1: Als Aufnahmeverzeichniß für meine Linux Sat-Reciever
1.2: Als Zentrale Datenablage
1.3: Als Speicherort für Musik
1.4: Als Speicherort für meine Filmsammlung
1.5: Als Teamspeak Server
Ich nutze die Freigaben NFS als mounts für meine Reciever, als auch Sambafreigaben für meine Windows Rechner
Desweiteren habe ich noch ein Linux Raid

Zu dem Raid System habe ich gleich mal eine Frage, ist es Möglich das oben genannte Raid System ohne Datenverlust in Ubuntu zu übernehmen.
Auf dem neuen System sollen zu den bisher genannten Funktionen noch folgende hinzukommen.
2.1: Printserver
2.2: Oscam Server
2.3: Cloud
2.4: E-Mail Server (eventuell)
Als Version hätte ich mir die Ubuntu 14.04.2-server vorgestellt.
Ich bin kein Linux Pro aber ich hoffe das ich das mit eurer Hilfe schaffe!
