Hallo zusammen!

Immer wenn ich ein 3D Spiele spiele friert mein gesammter Computer ein! Egal ob ein Ubuntu- internes oder über Wine installiertes externes Spiel gestartet wird, alle frieren nach 5-20 sekunden den gesammten Computer ein. Ich bin dann immer gezwungen den Neustartknopf zu betätigen. Ctrl+Alt+Zurück geht nicht mehr. Nichts geht mehr.

Ich habe schon Warcraft 3 (Wine) probiert oder Nexuiz (extrene Quelle aber Linux-game). Nicht einmal gl-117 (von den Ubuntu-Quellen) geht.

Alle 2D Spiele gehen, sowohl extern über Wine oder Linux-spiele. Z.B.: Starcraft hab ich laufen.

Ich habe eine Radeon 9600XT mit fglrx installiert:

Entferne bitte mal das dri Modul aus der xorg.conf. Das wird für 3D Beschleunigung nicht benötigt.

o.k. ich hab mal das modul rausgenommen und die spiele scheinen aufgehört zu haben sich einzufrieren! Aber: Die spiele sind jetzt ganz langsam. Ich habe keine 3d unterstützung mehr. Der mauscursor geht auch immer in die rechte untere Ecke bei den 3d spielen. Zudem kommt dieser error:

Ich habe jetzt auch wieder die Mesa driver. :-/ sollte wohl nicht so sein.

Gibt es eventuell ein Temperatur Problem?

hmm... könnte sein. Ich hab mein computer offen weil er sonst überhitzte. Das ist jetzt schon zwei jahr so. Evtl. ist viel staub im ventilator. Ich hab ihn aber letztens sauber geblasen

Ich denk nicht das es an der temperatur liegt. Ich habe auf Windows die Temperatur nachschauen können, also hats sicher sensoren auf meiner radeon 9600XT.

Leider hab ich kein windows mehr um nachzuschauen obs nur auf ubuntu passiert.

Habe auch soeben die Im-Sensors mit müh und not zum laufen gebracht und sie mir anzeigen lassen per sensors-applet. Es zeigt aber nur die temperatur vom CPU und vom M/B (ich nehm an das ist das motherboard) an. Weiss jemand wie ich die themperatur der GraKa lesen könnte?
