Einfachere Anpassung von Unity

Um Unity anzupassen, benötigt man bisher den CompizConfig Einstellungs-Manager oder wählt die manuelle Variante über gconf. Jetzt gibt es noch eine weitere Möglichkeit namens GUnity, das unter anderem bei folgenden Punkten Einstellmöglichkeiten bietet:

• Größe der Icons

• Transparenz des Launchers

• Animationen und Sichtbarkeit des Launchers

• Blureffekt

• Anzahl der Arbeitsflächen

GUnity lässt sich über ein deb-Paket installieren. Es ist unabhängig von CompizConfig Einstellungs-Manager.

Das bedeutet, daß das Paket von schlechter Qualität ist und nicht gemäß den Debian Richtlinien gebaut wurde. Ich würde es mir nicht installieren.

Alternative wäre:

Du besorgst dir den Quelltext und kompilierst selbst.
