Ein 404 verweist auf einen "toten Link" http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP-Statuscode . Dieser bleibt im "Normalfall" auch tot, es sei denn, der Betreiber der Seite lässt die URL wieder aufleben, was allerdings recht selten der Fall sein dürfte. Möglich ist es allerdings.
