Da meine Festplatte übergelaufen war, habe ich von den drei wichtigsten Verzeichnissen ein Backup gemacht, mit der Ubuntu-10.04-LTS-Desktop-Edition-CD gebootet, erfolgreich mittels GParted 1 Partition gelöscht und 2 Partitionen verschoben. Beim Verschieben oder kombiniertem Verschieben und Vergrößern der Home-Partition /sda/sda7 meldete GParted viermal: "Input/output error, während von /dev/sda gelesen wurde" ( http://paste.pocoo.org/show/329102/ ). Der "Fehler beim Lesen eines Blocks aus Sektor" tritt stets in der Nähe des Sektors 125797181 auf, aber ist nie genau derselbe. Wie setzt man zweckmäßigerweise die Reparatur fort?

Hallo,

input/output-Error deuten in der Regel auf einen Hardwareschaden hin. Hast du mal den Festplattenstatus überprüft?

~$ sudo e2fsk -f -y -v /dev/sda7

erzeugt keine Fehlermeldung.

Die Laufwerksverwaltung meldet: "SMART-Status: Laufwerk ist funktionstüchtig."

Ich habe die /home-Partition mittels

~$ sudo e2fsck -c /dev/sda7

repariert. Anschließend lief GParted fehlerfrei durch.
