Ich kann 2mandvd nicht unter Oneirc installieren, weil mir das Installationsprogramm folgenden Fehler ausgibt: Fehler: Abhängigkeit nicht erfüllbar: libavcodec53 (>= 5:0.9). Dieses Paket finde ich aber nicht in der Paketverwaltung, stattdessen nur die Version 4:0.7.3, Installiert ist das Extra-Paket. Hat jemand eine Idee, ich habe gerade angefangen, mich an 2mandvd zu gewöhnen.

Noch eine Anmerkung: 2mandvd ist nicht in den Paketen aufgeführt, das ältere mandvd leider auch nicht, daher habe ich versucht, wie in der Wiki beschrieben, es aus Fremdquellen zu beziehen, was ja auch soweit geklappt hat, nur, dass mir leider die passende Codecdatei fehlt.

ich sehe zwei Möglichkeiten:

1. Einbinden einer weiteren Fremdquelle, um die aktuelle libavcodec53-Version zu bekommen.

2. Ausprobieren von 2mandvd von Debian stable.

Probiere mal zuerst die 2. Möglichkeit. Bei der ersten Möglichkeit solltest du dich mit Pinnings vertraut machen und die Debian-Multimedia-Quelle nehmen. Da ich die Kombination Ubuntubasis und Debianmultimedia aber noch nie hatte, kann ich nicht sagen, inwiefern das korrespondiert.

Btw: Falls du apt-build produktiv nutzt, solltest du die Version aus Precise nehmen und nochmal ein "dpkg-reconfigure apt-build" hinterherjagen .

Hallo Lasall, danke für die schnelle Antwort. Da das Problem wohl doch mehr Aufwand erfordert, als von mir erhofft, werde ich es erst mal "auf Eis" legen, da ich im Moment nicht so viel Zeit habe. Ich hoffe aber, das ich es in etwa 2-3 Wochen erneut angehen kann, ich melde mich dann bestimmt auch wieder, insbesondere, wenn weiter Fragen oder Probleme auftauchen. Bis zu einer endgültigen Lösung kann ich ja immer noch unter Lucid arbeiten, welches ich mir sicher noch einige Zeit erhalten werde, bevor ich dann auf Precise Pangolin umsteige.
