Hi @ all, hab da mal ne kurze Frage, und zwar, Kubuntu will gerade 204 Pakete aktualisieren - das erscheint mir heftig viel und ich bin etwas unsicher, ob ich das durchlaufen lassen soll.

Es müssen 142 MB an Archiven heruntergeladen werden.
Nach dieser Operation werden 2.072 kB Plattenplatz zusätzlich benutzt.

Ich hatte eigentlich gestern das System aktualisiert - das ist Routine, wenn ich den Rechner hoch fahre, erstmal Terminal und "update/dist-upgrade" durchlaufen lassen.

Ich hab mir das alles mal genauer angeschaut, aber bei der Masse übersieht man leicht was - daher die Frage: soll ich oder stimmt da was nicht?

Und nein, 12.04.1 ist nicht "raus", es ist für den 23.08.2012 vorgesehen.

Das würdest du aber auch nicht an vielen Updates merken, denn wenn du dein System auf dem aktuellen Stand hälst kommst du von ganz alleine auf den Stand von 12.04.1.

schon klar, dass das von alleine kommt und eben, weil ich ja auch davon ausgehe, dass ich das an den Updates nicht merke, jetzt aber soviele auf einmal habe, dachte ich, ich frag mal nach. Verstehst du was ich meine?

Egal, jedenfalls, ich hatte mit 12.04 schon mal so´n Megateil, war aber noch zu Beta-Zeiten, da war dann hinterher der Desk weg. Jetzt bin ich halt n bischen verunsichert

Chromium wird wohl ein stinknormales Sicherheitsupdate sein, da fast alles andere KDE ist würde ich mal auf ein Update dort klicken, was eben auch das ganze "Zubehör" betrifft.

Also wenn du mir jetzt sagst, das ist dir zu viel, dann kann ich das verstehen und bin auch nicht stinkig deswegen.

Hab auch mal anderweitig gesucht und nix gefunden - ich denke, es ist ok. Da irgendwie ja von keiner Seite irgendwas kam, so ala, "ne pass auf, du hast da was übersehen", werd ich jetzt einfach mal mit "j" bestätigen.

dass ist der Überführung der Version 4:4.8.4 aus den proposed-Bereich in den regulären Bereich geschultert. Hier liegt es also am KDE-Fortschritt nach den ausführlichen Tests und nicht so sehr an KUbuntu und der Version 12.04.x im allgemeinen.

Dann wäre ich hier fehl am Platz.

apt-cache policy

zeigt einfach die verwendeten Paketquellen inklusive Fremdquellen und per Apt-Pinning verwalteter Pakete an. Ich wollte da nur sichergehen, dass du keine proposed-Quellen oder ähnliches aktiv hast. Deine PPAs enthalten jedenfalls nichts von dem, es sind also "normale" Systemaktualisierungen.
