Ich habe das Phänomen das ich mich sproradisch nicht als User in Lightdm einlogen kann.
Leider habe ich vergessen die entsprechenden Logfiles zu sichern. Sie sind während meiner Recherche schon überschrieben worden.

Ich habe die Fehlermeldung mal aus dem Internet rausgesucht.
Was ich getam habe: Auf Konsole eingeloggt und überprüft ob /home richtig eingebunden wurde.
Die Datein ~/.Xauthority und ~.ICEauthority überprüft. Beide gehörten mir und ich hatte Lese- und Schreibrechte darauf.
touch ~/test.txt lief auch ohne Fehlermeldung.
Behelfen tu ich mir so im Moment:
sudo mv /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter-ubuntu.conf /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter-ubuntu.conf.sicher
sudo cp -a /etc/xdg/lubuntu/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter.conf /etc/lightdm/lightdm-gtk-greeter-ubuntu.conf
sudo service lighdm restart
Diff zeigt mir das die Datei verändert wurde. Aber nicht von mir.

Was verändert die Konfiguration von Lightdm-gtk-greeter-ubuntu.conf? 😲 Falls es damit wirklich was zu tun hat.
