Hallo, ich hatte das alles hier schon mal am laufen. Hab einen alten MD9890 Scanner und hatte den über den Mustek 1200CP installiert. Wie hier im Wiki bei Mustek 1200Cp.

Musste jetzt mein Systhem neu aufsetzen und nun klappt das nimmer.

sudo sane-find-scanner -p

gibt mir ein :

Auch unter root läuft der Scanner nicht: Sane sagt immer kein Scanner ereichbar.

stelle sicher, daß die Benutzer, die scannen sollen, in der Gruppe "lp" sind. Ich habe selbst noch so ein Schätzchen, und da war das nötig.

Wenn das über Benutzer - Gruppen nur in der Gruppe LP das Häckchen bei meinem Namen setzten muss, dann war das nicht die Lösung. Scanner wird noch nicht erkannt.

Kann das sein das der irgendwie die Datei /etc/sane.d/mustek_pp.conf nicht lesen kann?

Sieht in der Tat so aus, als könne er mit dieser Datei nichts anfangen. Hast Du mal versucht, die im Editor zu betrachten? Ansonsten: Ich habe den Scanner auf einer (inzwischen) älteren Mint-Installation laufen. Wenn Du mir genau sagst, wonach ich schauen soll, kann ich bei Gelegenheit nochmal nachsehen.

Mein Aldi-Scanner ist übrigens ein LT9891 - und baugleich mit dem Mustek 1200 CP Plus.

das ist nicht richtig. Oberhalb eines jeden Konfigurationsblocks befindet sich die zugehörige Gerätebezeichnung. Dies ist ein Kommentar und darf nicht auskommentiert werden.

Sane kann die Konfigurationsdatei dann nicht lesen und die Initialisierung bricht ab. Der Scanner wird aber gefunden:

Folgende Einträge z.B. legen Parameter zur Konfiguration des Scanners fest

Aber das habe ich doch schon gezeigt. Nur die drei Einstellungen für den entsprechenden Scanner und ggf. noch den Parallelport einstellen

Wenn ich jetzt nicht ganz blöd bin gibt er mir bei allem was ohne # ist einen fehler aus.

Ok ,fangen wir von vorne an. Basisartikel für das Gerät ist Mustek 1200CP. xsane und sane-utils sind ja bereits installiert, denke ich.

Nun editierst Du die beiden Konfigurationsdateien. Zuerst die /etc/sane.d/mustek.conf. Dort wird der erste Parallelport eingestellt/aktiviert (parport0).

Nun die /etc/sane.d/mustek_pp.conf. Die Angaben werden wohl auch für den MD9890 zutreffend sein. Da muss letztendlich nur folgendes enthalten sein:

scanner LT9890 0x378 cis1200
option top_adjust 0
option bw 127

Sonst muss da nichts in der Datei stehen!

PS: im Editor werden die Zeilennummern angezeigt, so dass man die fehlerhaft angezeigten leicht findet.

das wars. Ich hab die /etc/sane.d/mustek_pp.conf jetzt komplett leer gemacht, und nur die drei Zeilen von dir eingetragen. läuft.
