Hallo aus dem Tal der Ahnungslosen!

Hier ist (wohl nicht nur heute) einiges schiefgelaufen. Es wurde ein neuer Kernel angeboten,darum auf Konsole "dist-upgrade"(https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel/2012-February/034742.html habe ich gelesen, angeblich gefixt und betrifft auch nur i386). Hier also amd64. Es wird alles runtergeladen und dann gibt es Probleme mit eglibc (was ich leider weggedrückt habe). Das Folgende habe ich dokumentiert:

Woher kommen die 32-bit-Bibliotheken? Was zum Teufel habe ich falsch gemacht? In /var/cache/apt/archives/ sind 1,3gb Bibliotheken , normal wären etwa 350mb?

das eigentliche Problem ist natürlich ,daß nvidia-current den Dienst verweigert: kein X-server!!

Hast Du denn den Fix schon geladen? Der Bug steht ja auf fixed und diverse Kommentatoren berichten, dass es nun für sie läuft.

Mit dist-upgrade immer vorsichtig sein und genau lesen, was wie wo de- und installiert werden soll. Gerade, wenn es zurückgehaltende Pakete gibt, nur ein upgrade machen.

Mitterlerweile habe ich diesen Bugreport gefunden: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eglibc/+bug/930323

Der beschreibt exakt mein Problem und auch, wie es zu lösen ist.

Also alles wieder in Ordnung und darum gelöst.

Wenn irgendjemandem etwas erläuterndes dazu einfällt, würde es mich freuen davon zu hören.
