Hast du winbind installiert? Schau mal mit pidof samba, ob dieser Dienst gestartet ist, wenn er eine Zahl liefert, beende diesen Dienst und Versuch dann smbd zu starten.

Ich habe auch 32-bit. Ich habe sie jetzt kopiert, um eine Freigabe ergänzt und Samba neu gestartet. Leider keine Änderung. :- [1]

Hi Eigentlich steht die Lösung schon da
Bei Samba4 gibt man in den Global abschnitt noch an als welche "Rolle" er arbeiten soll bzw. welche er laden soll Füge in den [Global] Bereich die Zeilen ein
Wenn Samba4 als Domaincontroller konfiguriert ist und auch mit den Microsoft Management Console für die Active Directory Benutzerverwaltung zusammen arbeiten soll wären die Zeilen
mit server services = +smb und dcerpc endpoint servers = remote sollte der smb Dienst wieder Starten ansonste eventuell mal in eine smb.conf reinschauen die von ubuntu stammt zum neuinstallieren von samba samba mit "apt-get purge samba" entfernen (Vorsicht es werden alle sambadatein gelöscht auch die Benutzerdatenbank sollte vorher gesichert werden) und dann neu installieren "apt-get install samba" danach sollten auch die config Dateien von ubuntu da sein |

Hmm das ist nicht gut 😉 Steht den die Fehlermeldung noch im Syslog? Die Daten müssten glaube ich in /var/lib/samba liegen |

Das kann nicht gehen, denn der Dienst heißt nicht samba, sondern smbd. Mit Da hat doch wohl niemand in den Boot-Skripten von Upstart herumgewurstelt, so dass smbd gar nicht gestartet wurde? Doch dann müsste ja |

Wenn die Scripte beschädigt sind müsste man den smbd auch mit
starten können dann sollte er laufen damit er nicht als Deamon läuft und man die Ausgabe gleich sieht kann man auch

Die gute Nachricht: es läuft! ☺ Die schlechte Nachricht: Ich weiß nicht wieso. ☹ Ich habe vor Euren letzten Kommentaren einfach mal den Rechner komplett neu gestartet. Nach Eingabe von "service smbd restart" gab es keine Änderungen. In /var/log/samba/log.%m gab es reihenweise Meldungen (Fehler, etc.), die ich vorher nicht hatte. pidof smbd liefert aber 2 Id's zurück. Die Ausgabe von testparm war ok. Ich hatte da aber die smb.conf nochmal um einige Einstellungen erweitert.
Mit dieser geänderten Config-Datei hatte ich aber samba noch nicht neu gestartet. Die Ausgabe von service smbd restart
Jetzt kommt's. Die Ausgabe von smbclient liefert aber folgendes.
smbtree gibt plötzlich auch etwas zurück:
Ich habe dann erst einmal vom Mac versucht, Verzeichnisse einzubinden. Läuft!! Super. Da musste ich jetzt drigend erst mal Dinge erledigen. Morgen werde ich mal den Rechner mit der vorhin geändert config neu starten und mal sehen, ob es dann immer noch geht. Puh. Vielleicht habe ich tatsächlich vor Jahren mal was an den upstart-Scripten geändert. Ich weiß es nicht mehr. Aber ich habe ja noch ein paar Ansätze, was ich dann testen kann. Ich melde mich, sobald ich weiter gestestet haben. Vielen Dank und gutes Nächtle erst einmal. |

Der AD-DC ist doch hier völlig fehl am Platz. Hier soll doch eben in "alter" Samba-3-Manier mit den Diensten smbd, nmbd und winbindd gearbeitet werden. Für solche Fälle sind diese ja weiterhin in Samba-4 implementiert. Und diese werden doch auch verwendet, wenn in der smb.conf |

So, ich habe heute den Rechner gestartet mit der gestern editierten, aber noch nicht aktivierten smb.conf. Die Verzeichnisse sind vom Mac erreichbar. smbtree zeigt die gestern schon gezeigte Auflistung. Das sieht schon mal gut aus. Was mich wundert ist folgendes:

Da müsste man schon Dein Netzwerk und seine Struktur genauer kennen, um bei jeder Option sagen zu können, ob sie richtig ist. Aber irgend etwas stimmt nach wie vor nicht, sonst würdest Du nicht so ungewöhnliche Meldungen erhalten. sudo service smbd restart Das müsste ganz anders aussehen. Es müsste die ID des gestarteten Prozesses erscheinen. Ich habe den Eindruck, bei Dir läuft ein Mischmasch von alten Samba-3 Routinen, die es nach wie vor in Samba 4 gibt, und neuen Routinen, die Du vermutlich gar nicht brauchst, und für die vielleicht auch gar keine Voraussetzungen gegeben sind. Daher die lange Liste von weitgehend unverständlichen Meldungen in der Logfile.
Klar ist das mir wirklich auch nicht. Und eine stabile Konfiguration kann es so auch nicht sein. Was für eine komplizierte Netzwerk-Struktur hast Du denn, dass bei Dir die Standard-smb.conf, die ich Dir geschickt habe, nicht läuft? Bei mir lief diese "out of the box"; ich musste nur die Workgroup eintragen und die Freigaben anfügen, und fertig. Noch ein paar Einzelheiten: wins support = yes Hast Du wirklich einen WINS-Server auf dem Rechner eingerichtet? Das würde mich wundern! Doch dies betrifft nur die Namensauflösung und ist egal, wenn Du den Server nur per IP ansprichst. server services = +smb dcerpc endpoint servers = remote Wozu diese beiden Zeilen gut sein sollen, sehe ich nicht. Im Normalfall solltest Du doch die Binärdatei samba gar nicht starten (!), sondern wie früher die Services smbd, nmbd und winbindd. Dann sollte Samba im Wesentlichen auch so laufen wie früher. Standardmäßig geht Ubuntu beim Booten genau so vor. Möchte man die Binärdatei samba starten mit allem Brimborium, das ich zum großen Teil auch nicht kenne, dann muss man deshalb diese drei Services zuerst deaktivieren. Wie es kommt, dass bei Dir offenbar die Binärdatei samba gestartet wird, die drei obigen Services aber nicht gestoppt sind, verstehe ich nicht. |
