Hallo,
4. Schritt: Ubuntu installieren mit manueller Partitionierung
/dev/sda1 500MB /boot ext4 /dev/sda2 6 GB /swap /dev/sda3 50 GB / ext4 /dev/sda4 xx GB /home ext4
English Version:
Installing Ubuntu 13.10 or Fedora 19 64 bit on a Lenovo S205 without downgrading of Grub:
1. Step: Create a bootable USB-drive with the programm unetbootin (sudo apt-get install unetbootin). Before that I usually format the USB-drive with gparted as a FAT32 partition.
2. Step: Delete the folder "EFI" on the bootable USB-drive before booting it on your Lenovo S205
3. Step: Boot from the USB-drive (Fn+F12) on your S205: You will see a boot menue. Use the third entry (Try Ubuntu). If you would like to install Fedora 19 use the first entry "Default"!
4. Step: Install Ubuntu using manual paritioning (If you install Fedora, you can also do it without manual paritioning)
/dev/sda1 500MB /boot ext4 /dev/sda2 6 GB /swap /dev/sda3 50 GB / ext4 /dev/sda4 xx GB /home ext4
Install the boat loader following the default option on /dev/sda. The first boot partition is formatted with ext4. To be in conflict with many online tutorials a downgrade of Grub is not necessary.
