Kurze Problembeschreibung:
Externe USB 3 HDD funktioniert nicht am USB 3.0 Port meines Laptops. An den USB2 Ports wird sie ohne Probleme eingehängt und lässt sich verwenden.

Es scheint also zumindest für mich so, dass die Festplatte erkannt wird. Eigehängt wird sie jedoch nicht. In gparted wird die Festplatte auch nicht aufgelistet. Wird die Festplatte per USB2 angeschlossen, taucht sie hier ganz normal als /dev/sdc auf.
