ich benötige Hilfe.

Ich habe einen Lenovo U350 und eine Wlan-Karte von Broadcom. Die Karte wurde schon installiert und hat auch bereits wunderbar funktioniert.

Jedoch hat der Lenovo links einen Schalter mit dem man das Wlan ausschalten kann, was ich zu Hause auch immer mache, da ich da am Lan angeschlossen bin. Das Problem ist, dass dann beim einschalten das Wlan plötzlich nicht mehr funktioniert. Das kam schon öfters vor, ich habs dann immer auf Windows wieder angeschaltet (das zusätzlich zu Kubuntu 10.4 auf dem Laptop war). Dann ging das Wlan auch wieder auf Linux nach einem Neustart bis halt wieder der Schalter umgelegt wurde.

Jetzt hab ich Windows formatiert und die Wlan-Karte geht wieder nicht. Bzw ich schaffe es nicht sie zu aktivieren. Ich suche jetzt schon seit mehreren Stunden das Internet ab nach einem Befehl oder einer Lösung die mir die Karte anmacht. Ich hab auch hier im Wiki geschaut aber die Lösung die bei den Acer-Tasten angeboten wird funktioniert nicht so wirklich.

Ich bin leider noch kein Profi was Linux angeht. Falls Jemand weiß was man tun kann wäre das super, weil Windows wieder installieren würde ich nur ungern.

@tomtomtom also zugegeben ich hab mir vorhin den Beitrag durchgelesen und bin mir unsicher was genau jetzt alles gebraucht wird. Bei den ersten 3 Konsolen Eingaben bei Abfragen bei Problemen mit Wlan-Verbindungen gibt mir die Konsole keine Informationen aus:

Versuche eine reine WPA2-AES Verschlüsselung. Auf welchem Kanal sendet der Router? Versuche den festen Kanal 1.

Also auf den Router den ich zugreifen will sendet öffentlich. Aber da mein Wlan-Karte nicht aktiv ist findet er auch keine Router auf die ich mich anmelden könnte. Das Lämpchen für das Wlan ist aus und auch ein scan bringt nichts.
