Nochmal. Habe jetzt die Lösung gefunden. Das Problem ist, dass Compiz einen "virutellen" Desktop mit vierfacher Breite des einzelnen (deshalb 5120x800) und nicht vier unabhängige. Aber nur so funktioniert halt der Cube. Folgender Code:
