Hallo, ich möchte xubuntu (12.04 LTS) mit einem zweiten Monitor betreiben. Ich schaffe es auch, dass der an den VGA-Ausgang angeschlossene Beamer ein Bild anzeigt. Nämlich einen xfce Desktop, der aber ein anderer ist als auf dem Laptop und an den ich nicht "rankkomme", d.h. ich weiss nicht, wie ich auf diesem zweiten Desktops irgendwas machen kann, eigentlich möchte ich auch, dass beide das gleiche anzeigen. Das klappt zwar einigermaßen, wenn ich xinerma auf true stelle, dann ist aber die Anzeige extrem langsam, bleibt ständig hängen oder friert komplett ein. Ich habe auch mit xrandr experimenitert, aber der zweite Monitor wird überaupt nicht erkannt, auch nicht mit xrandr --auto.
Mir ist auch nicht klar, ob ich ein xfce-Problem habe oder ein xorg Problem.
Unter Einstellungen/Einstellungen/Anzeige kommt die Fehlemeldung "Kann die Xfce-Anzeigeeinstellungen nicht starten" egal, ob xinerama an oder aus ist. Das einzige was geht ist unter Einstellungen/Einstellungen/Schreibtisch für den zweiten Bildschirm die Hintergrundfarben zu ändern.
Dass sich auf dem zweiten Montor übehaupt was tat erreichte ich durch eine zusätzliche Datei /usr/share/X11/xorg.cond.d/stefan-70.conf
