Danke schon mal für die schnellen Antworten, bin nicht dazu gekommen mal einen Absturz zu provozieren bis heute, also los gehts:
@blacksheep: an der Xorg.conf habe ich noch nie etwas verändert, ist also genau das was nach der Installation automatisch eingerichtet wurde.
Was genau ich da konfigurieren muss weiß ich auch nciht so genau! Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich da noch nie was mit zu tun gehabt also absolutes Neuland für mich. Gäbe es da vielleicht ein HowTo oder ein paar links die hilfreich wären?

Ich weiß auch nicht einmal wonach ich suchen soll und was ausschlaggebend für den Fehler ist.
@fidelski: Auch ein Umsteiger ☺ du musst wissen, Gentoo ist aber um einiges schneller, das ist so ziemlich das einzige was ich an Ubuntu auszusätzen hätte, sonst ist ja alles gleich, bzw. etwas besser! apmd läuft bei mir nicht, und ist nach aufruf wohl auch nich im Kernel unterstützt! Das kann es also auch nicht sein.
Der Haken ist ja, dass Toshiba sich zu fein ist einen anständigen acpi support für Linux zu bieten und es damit, wie ich überall so lese, wohl einige Probleme gibt. Ich habe versucht den acpi-fix aus wiki anzuwenden, jedoch tauchen bei mir Fehler auf, von denen keiner was gehört hat und ich auch keine Ahnung habe wie ich diese beheben kann!
Danke euch beiden nochmal für die Mühe mir bei dem Problem zu helfen!
