Hallo,
ich habe mich gestern mein Hardy auf Intrepid geupgradet. Da bei Hardy Grafik mit Vesa ging, dachte ich mir: "Wird schon klappen". Dies war leider nicht so, Intrepid erkannte meine VIA Grafikkarte nicht mehr richtig an und schmierte immer beim Start von GDM ab.
Ich bootete also im Recovery Modus und kopierte meine Hardy xorg.conf hinein, doch leider funktionierte es damit auch nicht so richtig. Nach einigen Stunden intensiver Internetrecherche und mehreren Neustarts hatte ich dann endlich die Lösung all meiner Probleme.
Meine jetztige xorg.conf Datei:

Es funktioniert jetzt unter 8.10 sogar die Helligkeitsveränderung, die unter Hardy nicht lief. Subjektiv würde ich auch sagen, das alles flüßiger läuft, aber da hab ich keine Testwerte für.
Das einzige was noch nicht läuft ist der Kopfhörerausgang, aber vielleicht klappt das ja mit 9.04 ☺
Vielleicht hilft es ja jemanden, der ähnliche oder gleiche Probleme hat.
