Der Schalter für das WLAN liegt auf einer Tastenkombination (Fn+F2), die Ubuntu nicht kennt:

Im BIOS hatte ich schon nachgeschaut, da gibt es keine Option für WLAN.

Das Häkchen im nm-applet ist trotzdem nicht gesetzt und nicht aktivierbar.
