nach 3 Tagen und Nächten (habe im Moment frei) bin ich jetzt zu verzweifelt um noch weiter im dunkeln zu stöbern. Deswegen wäre ich froh wenn ihr mir helft:
Kurz vorab: Habe mich vielen Themen in Foren auseinandergesetzt, einiges ausprobiert fasse ich unten nochmal zusammen, und weil ich nicht mehr sicher war ob ich was verhunzt habe, habe ich Ubuntu nochmal komplett neu aufgespielt. Jetzt nochmal von vorne und mit Sytem (und euch).

Ich habe wie gesagt das System neu gemacht.
Danach habe ich
1. Networkmanager entfernt
2. WICD aufgespielt
3. Linux-backports-modules installiert (wie im WIki beschrieben)
Status quo wie folgt:
- WICD verbindet sich manchmal mit dem Wlannetzwerk, manchmal nicht.
- Die Übertragung ist im Firefox via Wlan mega-langsam (wenns überhaupt geht)
- DIe Übertragung per Kabelnetzwerk zum Router ist optimal
- DIe Übertragung per Wlan aus Win XP auf anderer Partition ist auch optimal (das ärgert mich am meissten).
- Wenn ich über System/Hardwaretreiber/ den alternativen MadWifi treiber aktiviere funktioniert das Netzwerk garnicht mehr.
Auf dem alten System vorm formatieren habe ich folgende Dinge ausprobiert:
- Windows Treiber einbinden ... hat nicht funtioniert weil die .inf Dateien aus dem aktuellen Treiberdownload anscheinend nicht passten, und auf meiner Windowspartition finde ich nur ne .sys Datei für die Karte im Treiberordner.
- Firefox getunt laut Wiki
- puhh ich weiss garnicht was ich sonst noch gemacht habe, bin etwas durcheinander mittlerweile.
Wäre super wenn ihr mit mir nach dem Problem suchen könntet.
Ich sitze im Moment mit dem Netbook im Flur auf dem Boden und connecte mit dem kurzen Lan-Kabel zum Router um eure Antworten zu lesen.
