Habe in den letzten Tagen zu Ubuntu und zu diesem Forum gefunden und meine Rechner (Laptop und Desktop) von Fedora zu Ubuntu migriert. Bin wie wahrscheinlich alle hier sehr begeistert.
Und nun zu meinem "Problem":
Ich habe mal wieder (wie so oft vorher schon) Unreal Tournament installiert. Das Spiel legt in /usr/local/bin eine Verknüpfung zu /usr/local/games/ut/ut an.
Dieses Script startet dann auch ut-bin aus dem Verzeichnis /usr/local/games/ut/System
Wenn ich nun "ut" ausführe erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Couldn't run Unreal Tournament (ut-bin). Is UT_DATA_PATH set?
Das Script macht folgendes

Wenn ich aber das Script mit vollständiger Pfadangabe ausführe, dann klappt auch der UT-Start. Weiß jemand woran das liegen kann? Wundert mich nämlich und stört mich ein wenig, weil ich meine Programme gewohnheitsmäßig immer über "Anwendung ausführen" starte.
