Mahlzeit erstmal alle miteinander. Bin neu hier, aber nicht ganz neu bei Ubuntu. Habs schon öfters mal genutzt, musste aber immer (wegen Software die ich fürs arbeiten brauche) wieder zurück zu Windows. Jetzt hab ich endlich mal all meine Software unter Linux ans laufen bekommen (fehlerfrei juhuu) und jetzt scheitert es am Netzwerk. Habe, wenn ich sonst immer Ubuntu drauf hatte (bei 6.x angefangen) immer eine Kabelverbindung über einen D-Lan Adapter rüber zum Router. (Router steht im Büro meines Vaters. Wir teilen uns die Verbindung). Jetzt wurde die Kabelgebundene aber mehr und mehr instabil. Da ich ebenfalls ein leidenschaftlicher onlinespieler bin habe ich dies recht schnell gemerkt. (Ping sprang bei dem MMORPG das ich spiele zeitweise von 200 auf 24000 was einem Verbindungsabbruch gleichkam. Ping verbesserte sich nicht und bleib irgendwann auf ca 3000 und ging auch nicht mehr runter) Zuerst dachte ich es läge evtl an dem schon fast 11 Jahre alten Switch an dem mein Vater und auch ich über die D-Lan Verbindung hängen. Also habe ich einen neuen gekauft, nix ging. Ein Umstieg auf WLAN brachte mir dann wieder eine ordentliche Verbindung (Den Fehler in der Kabelverbindung haben wir bis heute nicht gefunden). Doch nun, da ich wieder Ubuntu installiert habe stehe ich vor einem Problem. Ich habe mir Ubuntu 10.10 irgendwann mal runtergeladen und nun muss ich feststellen das meine WLAN-Karte nicht funktioniert. Bin mir nichtmal sicher ob sie erkannt wird (Wohl eher nicht da ich zwar eine WLAN verbindung so konfiguriert habe wie mein Vater es mir gezeigt hat, aber dennoch keine Verbindung zu stande kommt.
(Naja die Karte Blinkt nur die ganze Zeit als währe Traffic da, aber im Router wird sie als "nicht verbunden" angezeigt und auch im System selbst hab ich kein Glück)
Und ja liebe Leser, ich kann es ebenfalls und habe versucht mich nach bestem Wissen und gewissen an die Anleitung des "Vor dem erstellen..." Threads zu halten.

So Puh das war erstmal alles was an Infos in der Vorlage genannt wurde *schwitz*. Hab Linux zwar schon öfters(auch über längere Zeiträume) genuzt aber das Terminal ist mir Teilweise noch unheimlich. (Zum Glück nen Vater der sich mit Unix auskennt xD, mir aber hier auch nicht weiterhelfen konnte)
So meine Frage ist jetzt: Könnt ihr mir, anhand der gelieferten Daten, helfen entweder die WLAN oder die Kabelverbindung einwandfrei ans laufen zu kriegen? Ich habe eine Logilink WL0066 300Mbits Karte, und bin gelinde gesagt am verzweifeln. Ohne eine funktionierende Verbindung ist das einzige Spiel das ich von zeit zu Zeit spiele nur noch ein 4.9GB großer Chatclient...

Er scheint die WLAN Karte also zu erkennen aber wenn ich unter Verbindungen Konfigurieren alles einstelle und dann unter Netzwerkdiagnose mir das ganze mal anschaue hat der adapter eine IP von 0.0.0.0
