hallo freunde und experten,
seit gestern bin ich TextUbuntu-fan, ich bin beeindruckt, hätte nicht gedacht, dass linux so gut aussieht.
Dennoch, bei all der Euphorie, gelingt es mir nicht, ins internet zu kommen (zum glück hab' ich noch XP auf der platte ☺)
Zu den details:
Laptop mit integrierter ethernet karte, von dort geht ein kabel zu einem 5-port ethernet switch, dieser ist verbunden mit dem ADSL-router (typ D-Link DSL-502G)
und von dort dann in die telefondose
ich kann von ubuntu aus mit dem web-browser auf den router zugreifen (10.1.1.1) und diverse einstellungen etc. vornehmen
es ist DHCP modus eingestellt
falls es wichtig ist- unter winXP gerätename:WAN-Miniport(PPPOE), gerätetyp:PPPoE, servertyp:PPP, authentifiz:PAP, ich logge mich beim provider ein mit kennung und passwort.
