Hallo, ich versuche jetzt schon länger meinen DVB-T Stick ans laufen zu bringen. Unter Windows 7 hat der funktioniert nun suche ich eine Lösung für Ubuntu.
Bisher hat das durchsuchen von Forum und Wiki nichts gebracht. Ich habe einen Cinergy Hybrid Stick von Terratec, lsusb gibt folgende Ausgabe : | Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0ccd:00a5 TerraTec Electronic GmbH Cinergy Hybrid Stick

Die Hardwaredatenbank scheint das Gerät nicht zu kennen und auch bei Terratec selber habe ich bisher nichts gefunden. der Befehl dmesg hat bisher auch nichts gezeigt, v4l-dvb ist installiert. Danke schonmal

Hallo niels.b lt. http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_USB_Devices ist der Treiber für den Stick ab Kernel 2.6.35 (Standardkernel von Ubuntu 10.10) im Kernel enthalten. Möglicher Weise benötigst du noch die dort angegebene Firmware xc3028L-v36.fw. Was zeigt:
dmesg | grep -i dvb edit: Die Firmware kannst du zum Beispiel so downloaden und installieren:
wget http://steventoth.net/linux/hvr1400/xc3028L-v36.fw
sudo cp xc3028L-v36.fw /lib/firmware

Versuche mal: sudo apt-get install linux-firmware-nonfree Dort ist die Datei /lib/firmware/xc3028-v27.fw enthalten. Danach den Rechner neu starten, damit er die Firmware dann beim booten übernimmt. Schreib bitte ob es geklappt hat!

In der Detailübersicht hier 🇬🇧 steht, dass ein tm6010-Chip verbaut ist, Damit sollte das Kernelmodul tm6000 zusammenarbeiten. Dies kannst du mal testweise bei angesteckten Stick laden:
sudo modprobe -v tm6000
und die verwendete Version ansehen:
modinfo tm6000
Eigentlich sollte es mit der Version funktionieren, die beim Kernel (Paket linux-image) dabei ist. Die Installation von v4l-dvb sollte nicht notwendig sein.

Ich habe unter 11.10 die gleiche Version (gelbmarkiert) wie du. Scheint also keine Sonderversion aus irgendeiner anderen Quelle zu sein. Dieses Kernelmodul ist noch im "Staging"-Bereich. Ist also eher als instabil einzustufen. Aus dem Staging-Bereich wird auch nichts automatisch geladen. Das manuelle Laden hat aber funktioniert. Mit
dmesg
ohne Filter siehst du nach dem Laden vielleicht eine Fehlermeldung, woran es hakt. Ein paar Ausgaben zum Modul tm6000 sollten auf jeden Fall vorhanden sein:
dmesg | grep -i tm6000 edit: Versuch den Stick vielleicht erst anzustecken, nachdem der Treiber bereits geladen ist. Diese Reihenfolge habe ich in einer funktionierenden Anleitung hier 🇮🇹 gefunden, wo aber aufgrund der Kernelversion 2.6.34 noch jener Teil mit v4l-dvb nötig war.

gefiltert hast. Liefert die Ausgabe ohne Filter

Gibt Probleme beim Laden der Firmware. Ist die Firmware xc3028L-v36.fw unter /lib/firmware vorhanden ? Für den Trident-Chip gibt es lt. linuxtv.org 🇬🇧 noch zwei zusätzliche Kernelmodule, die nicht automatisch mit dem Modul tm6000 mitgeladen werden:
