Kurzanleitung Grundinstallation:

Alles so einstellen, dass von Stick gebootet werden kann, UEFI Secure aus, Uefi bleibt an

(PS eine gute Gelegenheit die Virtualisierung einzuschalten)
Backup von der ganzen Platte (Win8) mit Clonezilla erstellt (benötigt wird ein min. 8GB Stick)
Ubuntu 13.10 64bit mit Installationsmedium auf Stick installieren
Hochfahren, F12 für Bootmenü
Ubuntu ausprobieren wählen
gparted starten (kann auch im Installationsprogramm gemacht werden)
sda4 auf 64 gb verkleinern
sda5 hinter sda4 verschieben, sodass kein freier Platz bleibt
sda6 512mb für /boot
sda7 1gb für swap
sda8 Rest (ca. 175GB) für Ubuntu
Ubuntu installieren, “Etwas anderes” auswählen und Partitionen auswählen
Bootmanager in /boot-Partition sda6 installieren
Keine Verbindung mit dem Internet herstellen → so lassen (keine Aktualisierungen /Drittanbieter/Ubuntu One; hatte zuvor einen Installationshänger und weiß nicht, ob es damit zusammenhing)

Was noch nicht oder unzureichend funktioniert:
Bluetooth: Funktioniert zwar mit der TP-Maus, zeigte jedoch mehrfach eine leere Batterie an.
WLAN: Häufige Verbindungsabbrüche, Gerät ist nun mit dem 5GHz-Band verbunden (FritzBox 7390), was besser zu funktionieren scheint.
Touchpad: Mittlere Maustaste unkonfiguriert.
