Ja, ich hab auch schon Plymouth mit nosplash ganz rausgenommen und die Bootzeit bleibt aber trotzdem bei über 30 sekunden.
Ich hab jetzt nochmal dmesg -d laufen lassen und da scheint Plymouth darauf zu warten (also genau was "quit-WAIT-service" wohl machen soll), dass sich Wifi Karte und Repeater (an dem mein Sohn hängt) einig werden. Zumindest sind dort dann weiter unten die größten Zeitlücken zu finden bei zB. (hab jetzt auch den dmesg Befehl entdeckt)

Ich kapier das nicht. Im Router ist dem Rechner die feste IP zugeteilt, an Router, Repeater und Rechner WPA2 (kein TKIP) eingestellt und wenn ich am Rechner WLAN aus und wieder einschalte ist das in Sekundenbruchteilen da. Aber genau auf's Netzwerk scheint ja plymouth-quit-wait.service zu warten bevor dann der Vorgang abgebrochen und endlich gestartet wird. Dann nach ner Sekunde im Desktop steht auch das WLAN.
