ich bin mir ziemlich sicher (aber halt nicht zu 100%), dass die markierte erste Zeile da nicht hin gehört - würde dazu aber gerne noch die Meinung anderer hier mitlesender User hören → mein UEFI-System ist ein 14.04, könnte also möglich sein, dass das unter 16.10 eben doch dazugehört. Danach wäre meines Erachtens der nächste erfolgversprechende Schritt das Erstellen eines neuen UEFI-Eintrages - macht allerdings keinen Sinn, wenn der für das Booten zuständige Bereich von Bootrepair manipuliert wurde → Sackgasse ☹ Ja sorry, hab leider keine funktionierende Lösung für dich - aber andere haben auch Ahnung. Wärs mein eigener Rechner, dann würde ich den gesamten Inhalt von /boot/efi/EFI/ubuntu, sowie diese /boot/efi/EFI/Boot löschen und Grub nochmal neu installieren → aber das wäre "Holzhammer" und soll keine Empfehlung sein → besser, du wartest mal ab, ob sich nicht noch jemand meldet, der mehr Ahnung von dem Thema hat 👍 Grüßle Frieder

Okay,verstanden. Dann bitte einmal ein Terminal im installierten System öffnen, und die Ausgabe von cat /boot/grub/grub.cfg
cat /etc/fstab
mount
sudo lsblk -o name,uuid,fstype,mountpoint,label,size,model

Wie startest Du eigentlich, wenn Du search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg
eingegeben hast. Und dann musst Du bitte im grub-Menü zunächst mit set nachsehen, wohin "root" denn gesetzt ist und wohin es nach dem search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg zeigt. Falls die Ausgabe aus dem Bild läuft, kann man diese mit dem Befehl pager=1 nach einer Seite anhalten. Mit einer taste kann man dann zeilenweise und mit einer anderen die Ganze Seite weiter herunterscrollen. Welche das sind, weiß ich jetzt gerade nicht, und ich mag jetzt dafür auch nicht schon wieder neu starten. Außerdem kannst Du bitte noch einmal gucken, ob eine andere der Variablen, die mit set angezeigt werden, sich durch den Befehl ebenfalls verändert. Bitte die Ergebnisse mal hier zeigen. Außerdem bitte einmal aus dem System im Terminal die Grubversion mit update-grub -v um zu sehen, ob unter 16.10 eine andere Grub-Version installiert ist als unter 16.04 (was bei mir läuft).

Ich komme, nachdem ich dann mit F10 boote, in das Menü, wo ich zwischen Ubuntu und Windows Boot Loader wählen kann.

Dann haben wir uns offenbar missverstanden das Grub-Menü sieht aus wie im Anhang grubmenü.png. Dort kann man nichts weiter eingeben. Stattdessen gibt es die Grubshell, in der man Befehle eingeben kann. Ich hatte angenommen, Du wüsstest, wie man aus dem Grubmenü die Grub-Shell aufruft, nämlich indem man auf
C drückt, und dass Du genau das gemacht hast, um die Zeile search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg einzugeben. Genau hier kann man eben auch die anderen Grub-Befehle eingeben, wie set um sich anzeigen zu lassen, wie die Voreinstellungen derzeit aussehen und andere Befehle, wie sie in GRUB 2/Shell ewähnt sind. Nun würde mich dann doch genauer interessieren, wo Du search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg eingibst, denn im Grub-Menü kann man das nicht. [Edit:]

Ich hab immer e im Grub-Menü gedrückt und dann die Zeile | search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg

eingegeben. Habe das jetzt in der Shell gemacht und dann set aufgerufen. Die Ausgabe ist im angehängten Bild zu sehen. Der Vollständigkeit halber hier das vollständige BootInfoScript: 1

Interessant ist ja eben der Vergleich vor und nach der Zeile. Also bitte in der Grub-shell nacheinander
und dann die Ausgabe beider set-Ausgaben vergleichen. Außerdem ist noch interessant, wo genau du diese Zeile im Grub-Menü eingefügt hast. Nach

Nachdem ich e im Grub-Menü, welches erscheint, wenn ich vom USB-Stick boote, gedrückt habe erscheint: AfterPressingE.jpg Dort lösche ich dann alles, gebe
| search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg

ein und gelange in das Grub-Menü, wo ich Ubuntu und Windows wählen kann. Wenn ich im ersten Grub-Menü set eingebe, kommt: FirstSet.jpg Wenn ich dann nur | search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv

eingebe, und dann wieder set, kommt: SecondSet.jpg Wenn ich | search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg

eingebe, gelange ich wie oben erwähnt in das andere Grub-Menü. Gebe ich dort set ein, kommt: ThirdSet.jpg Vorher und nachhher unterscheidet sich dann nur der Eintrag bei root, und zwar wie folgt: Vorher: Nachher:

Prima. Das Grub-Menü, dass Du vor diesem Bildschirm siehst, ist das Menü des Live-mediums. Wie es aussieht, wurde der Eintrag 5 im EFI-Menü nicht korrekt eingerichtet (das dürfte Boot-Repair verbaselt haben, und wie es aussieht, den Windows-Eintrag ebenfalls). Deshalb werden nacheinander in der bestehenden Reihenfolge die anderen Einträge getestet, und der erste EFI-Eintrag, der funktioniert, ist der des Live-Mediums. Dies zeigt natürlich auf eine andere /boot/grub/grub.cfg, so dass das falsche Menü aufgerufen wird. Mit der Zeile search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg werden alle Laufwerke nach einer /boot/grub/grub.cfg durchsucht, und das Laufwerk, das als erstes diese Datei enthält, wird als "root" gesetzt. Damit wird dann auch die grub.cfg von dort geladen und in diesem Fall das Menü Deiner Linux-Installation. Daher muss der Starteintrag für Ubuntu neu erstellt werden. Deshalb bitte das Ubuntu-System starten und einen weiteren Eintrag erstellen. sudo efibootmgr -c -d /dev/sda -p 2 -L "Yakkety Yak" -l \\EFI\\ubuntu\\shimx64.efi Bevor nun neu gestartet wird, bitte noch einmal sudo efibootmgr -v eingeben und beide Ausgaben hier im Codeblock zeigen. Die "BootOrder" sollte nun 0006,0005,0004,0001,0000,0003,0002 lauten. Wenn das der Fall ist, kann den Rechner einmal neu gestartet werden und es sollte das richtige Grub-Menü erscheinen.

Ich habe diesen Beitrag http://askubuntu.com/questions/784923/ubuntu-16-04-does-not-boot-correctly-from-toshiba-notebook-efi gefunden und konnte damit das Problem beheben. Trotzdem vielen Dank für deine Hilfe lionlizard.
