seit dem Update von 14.04 (Trusty) auf 16.04 (Xenial) vor 2 Wochen passiert immer wieder das gleiche Problem: ein paar Sekunden nach dem Start hat die optische USB-Maus keinen Strom mehr und lässt sich auch deshalb nicht benutzen. Man kann das auch beim Startprozess bei umgedrehter Maus beobachten: das rote Licht der Maus leuchtet noch, wenn der Bildschirm von Ubuntu sich aufgebaut hat, dann kurze Zeit später verlöscht es wieder. Bei Auswechslung der Maus bleibt der Fehler.
In /var/log/Xorg.0.log fand ich folgende Hinweise, die ich nicht interpretieren kann. Vielleicht seid ihr da besser:

Ich kann die USB-Maus manuell starten, indem ich den Stecker raus- und wieder reinstöpsel, aber das ist auch nicht der Hit. Wer hat eine Idee?
