Hallöchen Heute kam der neue Epson-Drucker. Laut kurzer Suche im Netz sollte der eigentlich leicht zu installieren gehen und sogar Tintenstände übertragen, aber naja.... Die Treiber aus dem Epson Downloadcenter habe ich, wie dort angegeben, installiert. Drucken tut das Ding auch. Tintenstände werden zwar keine übermittelt, aber naja. Bin ich vom alten Modell schon gewohnt gewesen. Für's scannen hat sich anscheinenddas Programm "Image Scan" installiert. Das alte Program "Image Scan! For Linux" (vom alten Epson SX425W) baut keine Verbindung zum ET-2650 auf. Simple Scan ebenfalls nicht. Auch bei XSane kommt die Fehlermeldung "Konnte Scanner nicht Starten. Operation abgebrochen." Prinzipiell spricht "Image Scan" den Drucker auch an, ABER:
ist das Programm doof. Man kann in der Vorschau nicht mal zuschneiden. Und speichert das Programm die gescannten Dokumente nicht. D.h. wenn ich auf scannen drücke, sehe ich zwar, wie im Zielordner eine Datei angelegt wird, aber ist das Scannen beendet, verschwindet diese Datei wieder.

Hallo miteinander Habe eben noch eine Entdeckung gemacht. Mit XSane funktioniert die Vorschau nicht, da kommt die Meldung "Konnte Scanner nicht starten. Operation abgebrochen." Gehe ich aber im Hauptfenster direkt auf Scannen, dann wird auch gescannt. Geht in Farbe, geht auch in Graustufen und ich kann das gescannte Bild auch anzeigen lassen und speichern. Mehr hab ich jetzt nicht probiert, aber XSane war auch verhältnismäßig träge und instabil, ist auch abgestürzt. Ubuntu hat auch ne ellenlange Fehlermeldung generiert, aber leider wußte ich nicht, wie man die speichert, deshalb konnte ich sie nur in 18 Screenshots festhalten. Falls das helfen könnte, würde ich die hier hochladen. Mit Scanlite funktioniert überhaupt nix. Gibt es denn eine Möglichkeit für mich heraus zu finden, auf welche Befehle der Scanner anspricht oder eben auch nicht? Bisher habe ich von Epson installiert (in der a. Reihenfolge)

Hi,zeige mal die Terminal Ausgaben von export SANE_DEBUG_DLL=255 && scanimage -L sowie sudo sane-find-scanner und dpkg -l | grep epson* Ist das Gerät an USB 2.0 Angeschlossen?

Ok,erkennung Funktioniert.Teste ein Scann im Terminal scanimage >~/Test.pnm id zeige die Ausgabe des Terminals.Test.pnm liegt in deinem Home Ordner.

Versuche es wenn du dich zur Gruppe Saned und Scanner zufügst sudo adduser $USER saned
sudo adduser $USER scanner Neustart scanimage >~/Test.pnm Hat was ergeben??

Also gescannt hatte es mit dem Befehl scanimage. Die Datei liegt im Homeverzeichnis, so wie du gesagt hattest. Ist auch korrekt gescannt. edit: Das Eintragen in die Gruppen hat am bisherigen Verhalten erstmal nix geändert.

Hi, ich habe es neulich erst festgestellt, als ich meinen alten V10 wieder installiert habe. Wenn man auf diese Seite geht → klick und dort das Modell ET-2650 eingibt, landet man auf einer Seite, wo ein Bundle mit dem Namen: imagescan-bundle-ubuntu-16.04-1.3.21.x64.deb.tar.gz bereit gestellt wird. Nur noch entpacken und nach der Readme-Datei vorgehen. Funktioniert wunderbar. Nach den Maßnahmen, die ihr bereits durchgeführt habt, weiss ich nicht, ob mein Vorschlag jetzt noch Fehlerfrei funktioniert. Vielleicht sollte vorher einiges deinstalliert werden.

OK, das Bundle ist ja genau das, was ich auch benutzt habe, nur daß ich mich nicht um die Readme-Datei gekümmert habe, sondern einfach entpackt und die Pakete mit dem Paketmanager installiert habe. Mhh...

Im Grunde hätte es nur einfaches ./install.sh ausführend in dem Ordner, wo die entpackten Dateien liegen gereicht. Probieren würde ich es trotzdem nochmal. Dabei genau die Fehlermeldungen beobachten. Eventuell müssen die bereits installierten deb-Pakete vorher deinstalliert werden.

Jetzt gab's doch nochmal einen kleinen Zwischenfall. Drucken und scannen funktioniert über WLAN tadellos. Wenn ich allerdings über USB scannen möchte und XSane nutze, gibts Probleme. Der Drucker wird zwar erkannt und ich kann auch scannen, aber wenn ich auf Vorschau gehe, dann kommt die Fehlermeldung "Konnte Scanner nicht starten. Operation abgebrochen." Ohne Vorschau ist scannen natürlich etwas doof. Ideen? Viele Grüße 601-er
