Bei mir kommt seit heute beim Starten des Rechners die Fehlermeldung "system is running in low-graphics-mode" (s. screenshot). Wenn ich ein paar mal ok bzw.esc drücke, fährt er normal hoch und läuft dann auch fehlerfrei. Beim nächsten Mal hochfahren passiert dasselbe. Was ist da los?

Hallo Bertram12, ich hatte genau dasselbe Problem mit Ubuntu 16.04 und auch mit Intel-Grafikkartentreiber und dafür eine Lösung gefunden die für mich geklappt hat (siehe unterer Abschnitt).
Mal taucht die Fehlermeldung während des Bootvorgangs auf manchmal nicht, nach Auswahl des Default-Modus läuft alles ganz normal. Ich weiß nicht(ich bin leider ein Laie) ob da ein Zusammenhang gibt, aber bei mir begann das Problem, als nach einem normalen Upgrade über das Terminal die Fehlermeldung kam, das der Download vom flashplugin-installer fehlgeschlagen ist. Als Lösung dafür habe ich zusätzliche Haken hinter den ppa für Canonical Partners bei der Software-Verwaltung gelegt. Zudem hatte ich beim Browser Firefox die Leistungseinstellung geändert und habe dort Hardware-Beschleunigung benutzt, da einige Videos bei mir nicht abpielen konnten. Dies hatte ich dann aber wieder deaktiviert. Paar Tage danach tauchte das Grafikkarten-problem auf. Lösungen die ich ausprobiert habe: - ubuntu-desktop nochmal installieren (→ keine Änderung) Lösungen die ich noch ausprobieren wollte: - Installation neuer Treiberversionen von Intel (das scheint mir etwas komplizierter da man sich noch die Readme dateien durchlesen muss und auch die richtige Komponente installieren muss)→ siehe Quellen für mehr Info - lightdm-conf Datei ändern/löschen. Lösung die bei mir geholfen hat!: - den Intel-Grafikkartentreiber nochmal installieren: Folgendes nacheinander im Terminal ausführen:
Auch nach dem 4.Bootvorgang ist die Fehlermeldung nicht mehr aufgetaucht. Ich hoffe diese Lösung hilft euch auch! VG Stonoga Quellen: Moderiert von redknight: Abgetrennt. Bitte beachte Richtig fragen. Jeder nur ein Kreuz.

Ich bin nun auch dem Vorschlag von stonoga gefolgt und habe das oben aufgeführte im Terminal ausführen lassen. Komischerweise trat der Fehler beim 1. Booten danach nochmal auf, seitdem (ca. 4x Booten) aber nicht mehr. Danke stonoga! @Xugro: in meiner /var/log/Xorg.0.log taucht die Zeile mit plymouthd nicht auf. |

Der Fehler taucht bei mir - selten (etwa bei jedem 10. Bootvorgang) - immer noch auf. |

Genau das hilft.Danke! Hätte ich auch allein drauf kommen können... Bei mir trat der Fehler nach einem Mainboard-Wechsel auf. In früheren Versionen trat dieser Fehler bei mir nicht auf, aber ist ja einfach zu beheben. Lieben Gruß Martin |
