Hallo, habe ein Intel Nuc 8i7HVK bekommen.
Hier drauf würde ich gerne Linux bzw. Ubuntu installieren. Leider habe ich das Problem das sämtlich Liveversion egal welcher Distribution beim starten des X-Servers hängen bleiben. folgende Hardwareangaben kann ich geben: 1

Wenn die X-server stehen bleiben (egal welche Live-Distribution ich ausprobiert habe) und ich einem aneren Runlevel
wechseln und mich einlogge, und versuche das Logfile vom X-Server auszulesen erhale ich folgende Medungen (Im Anhang zu sehen) http://up.picr.de/32917746zq.jpg Ich vermute der X-Server (Mesatreiber) erkennt die Grafikkarte nicht, aber ich habe hier dies gefunden: https://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=c6f1d360198c52d208645c0ccb5e988cded408e8 Doch für mich stellt sich nun die frage wie kann ich diesen Treiber auf den Ubuntu-Boot-Stick legen das er
bei der Starten auch benutzt wird? Habe Hierzu leider keinen Link gefunden wie ich solchen "neueren" treiber aus dem Internet lade und benutzten kann.
Wäre schon dankbar wenn man mir hier einen Wink geben könnte wie ich da vorzugehen habe ☺

Hallo Taomon, recht herzlichen Dank, mit dieser Bootoption startet der Live-USB-Stick von Ubuntu 18.10 durch 👍 Bedeutet dies das in der Betaversion die neuen Treiber schon eingeflossen sind? Wenn ich Ubuntu nun installiere, würde er dann die Bootoption "nomodeset" gleich mit reinnehmen,
oder muss ich das nach der Installation dann wieder manuell eintragen?

Hallo Taomen, nochmals recht herzlichen Dank für den Hinweis mit dem "nomodeset" 👍 So habe mir nun man das Kubuntu 18.04 installiert, da ich die 18.10 noch nicht als Betaversion gefunden habe. Der "nomodeset" Eintrag wird bei der Installation nicht mit übernommen, aber zum Glück lässt er sich auch noch nach der Installation
auf dem M2-SSD Chip-Riegel auch noch weiterhin ausführen.
Ich habe nun mithilfe des Wikis diesen nun auch dauerhaft mit eingetragen ☺ https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Bootoptionen/#Dauerhafte-Konfiguration-eines-Systems Gibt es eine Möglichkeit (oder Link) wie ich ggf. den neuen Treiber meiner Grafikkarte "Radeon Vega M"
von hier https://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=c6f1d360198c52d208645c0ccb5e988cded408e8
installieren kann? Oder muss ich da warten bis Ubuntu auf den Mesa-Treiber vom 2018-04-18 aufholt um die bessere Unterstützung zu bekommen?
( Wie stehen die Chancen das dieser evtl. in Ubuntu 18.10 schon integriert sein wird? ) Was mir noch fehlen würde wäre wie man den Ton auf den Fenseher bekommt.
Habe zwar den Audio-Einstellung HD-Audio Generic Digital Stereo (HDMI) aktiviert aber irgendwie entlocke ich am TV keinen Ton. Aber zuerst bin ich mal Glücklich das (K)ubuntu überhaupt drauf läuft 👍

Habe ich aber wieder deaktiviert, da ich seltsamerweise wegen den Grafiktreiber keine Firefox mehr starten konnte. Aber schön das daran gearbeitet wird 👍 Momentan habe ich wieder Kubuntu 18.04 LTS installiert system läuft nun auch hier ohne weitere "bootoptionen" direkt ins KDE ☺ 1
