Danke schon mal.

heiner@heiners-ThinkPad-T510:~$ dpkg -l | grep hplip
ii hplip 3.17.10+repack0-5 amd64 HP Linux Printing and Imaging System (HPLIP)
ii hplip-data 3.17.10+repack0-5 all HP Linux Printing and Imaging - data files
ii hplip-gui 3.17.10+repack0-5 all HP Linux Printing and Imaging - GUI utilities (Qt-based)

Note: hp-check can be run in three modes:
1. Compile-time check mode (-c or --compile): Use this mode before compiling the HPLIP supplied tarball (.tar.gz or .run) to determine if the proper dependencies are installed to successfully compile HPLIP.
2. Run-time check mode (-r or --run): Use this mode to determine if a distro supplied package (.deb, .rpm, etc) or an already built HPLIP supplied tarball has the proper dependencies installed to successfully run.
3. Both compile- and run-time check mode (-b or --both) (Default): This mode will check both of the above cases (both compile- and run-time dependencies).
Check types:
a. EXTERNALDEP - External Dependencies
b. GENERALDEP - General Dependencies (required both at compile and run time)
c. COMPILEDEP - Compile time Dependencies
d. [All are run-time checks]

net ist hinzugefügt. hp-setup liefert übrigens:
HPLIP cannot detect printers in your network.
This may be due to existing firewall settings blocking the required ports. When you are in a trusted network environment, you may open the ports for network services like mdns and slp in the firewall. For detailed steps follow the link. http://hplipopensource.com/node/374

| sudo apt install hplib-gui
|
Was genau davon wirklich geholfen hat.. keine Ahnung.

error: cups CUPS - Common Unix Printing System REQUIRED 1.1 - INCOMPAT 'CUPS may not be installed or not running'

Also - 1.
- 2. sudo apt-get update
- 3. sudo apt-get -f upgrade
- 4. sudo apt-get install synaptic
- 5. sudo apt-get install dkms sane xsane
- 6. sudo apt-get remove --purge hplip
- 7. Download obigen LINK hplip-3.19.3.run
