😬 wo kommt die 40-libsane.rules und die /etc/udev/rules.d/S99-2000S1.rules denn her?? Starte mal ein 19.04 Live https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Downloads/Disco_Dingo/ schließe den HP an und teste ihn – ich denke es wird Funktionieren. |

Ich habe doch Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) installiert und es funktioniert nicht. Es kommt zuerst "Nach Scannern wird gesucht" und kurz danach "zusätzliche Programme werden benötigt". Der HP Photosmart ist angeschlossen und eingeschalten. Wenn ich eine 19.04 Live installiere, was soll das bringen???

Jetzt habe ich 19.04 live von usb gestartet. Was jetzt passiert ist genau dasselbe nur auf Englisch. Add Printer drivers required. an application is requesting additional printer drivers Nach kurzer Zeit wird dann gemeldet: Printer added HP Photosmart Dann starte ich simple scan Und jetzt dasselbe auf Englisch: Searching for Scanners Additional Software needed Und dann passiert nix mehr ... |

Ich fasse mich kurz.Das Gerät wird schon seit HPLIP Version 3.9.10 unterstützt https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing/supported_devices/index Egal was wir anstellen - es Funktioniert nicht.Selbst im Live Modus nicht.... Ich kann hier leider nicht weiter Helfen. |

Ich weiß es ist frustrierend! Habe selber viele Jahre im Tech-Support hinter mir. Unter Ubuntu 16.04 funktioniert ja alles wunderbar mit dem schönen kompakten Gerät. Dass so etwas mit nachfolgenden Versionen wie 18.04 und 19.04 passiert ist man von Ubuntu eigentlich nicht gewohnt. Ich bin nicht blockiert, mit meinem laptop mit 16.04 funktioniert der Scanner ja. Und dann hab ich immer noch meinen DeskJet 5370C, den kann ich ja mit meinem Ubuntu 19.04 Rechner auch verwenden. Vielen Dank erst einmal für deinen Einsatz und die viele damit verbrachte Zeit! Nur noch zur Info: Habe jetzt noch einmal die Live Version von 18.04 gestartet. Und siehe da, simple scan funktioniert damit. Die nochmalige Gegenprobe mit Live Version 19.04 bestätigte das alte Verhalten: simple scan funktioniert hier nicht,es kommt wieder "zusätzliche Programme werden benötigt". Ich hatte aber ursprünglich die 18.04 installiert. Erst als ich dort das Problem festgestellt hatte, habe ich die 19.04 installiert. Ich weiß nicht ob das was bringt die 18.04 wieder zu installieren? Ich denke ich laß das jetzt erst einmal! Schönes Wochenende! |

Problem mit 18.04 gelöst! Habe Ubuntu 18.04 wieder installiert. Bin die Historie durchgegangen die wir mit 19.04 gemacht hatten. Ich denke es war das Kommando hp-plugin -i welches genügt hat bei 18.04 das Problem zu lösen. Nach den Erfahrungen mit der Version 19.04 denke ich, ich bleibe auf der Version 18.04! Gruß Gerd |

Ist die Richtige Entscheidung gewesen.18.04 hat auch LTS Status,da solltest du erst mal "Verschont" bleiben vor Überraschungen 😉 Habe auch noch nichts herausfinden können w.s das Problem bei 19.04 auslöst. Gruß Stephan |
