Nachdem ich das durchgelesen habe, ist mir in den Sinn gekommen, dass mir mein Sohn eine neuere Karte als ich habe zusätzlich eingebaut hat. Nach einem Test, ob alles gutläuft habe ich beide beibehalten, denn ich hatte nie Probleme erkannt.
Wieso sollte das in der 14.04 bestens funktionieren und in der 18.04 überhaupt nicht? Die ältere Karte ist die «NVIDIA Corporation G98 [GeForce 8400 GS Rev. 2]»
