Hallo!
An meinem neuen PC versuche ich gerade den WLAN-Stick D-Link DWA-131 zum Laufen zu bringen. Angeblich wird er ja ab Ubuntu 12.04 problemlos erkannt, deshalb habe ich mir diesen gekauft. Für Ubuntu 14.04 scheint das nicht mehr zu gelten, oder nur für meinen Rechner nicht.
# lsusb Bus 003 Device 005: ID 2001:330d D-Link Corp.
Er hat also offenbar die falsche ID; eigentlich müsste es ja 07d1:3303 sein. Leider funktioniert aber auch die im Wiki verlinkte Anleitung nicht.
# echo 'install r8192s_usb /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install r8192s_usb; /bin/echo "07d1 3303" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rtl819xU/new_id' | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/r8192s_usb.conf [sudo] password for grashalm: install r8192s_usb /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install r8192s_usb; /bin/echo "07d1 3303" > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rtl819xU/new_id # sudo mkdir /lib/firmware/RTL8192SU
Treiberdatei heruntergeladen und entpackt, danach
# sudo cp rtl8192sfw.bin /lib/firmware/RTL8192SU # sudo modprobe r8192s_usb modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod-module.c:809 kmod_module_insert_module() could not find module by name='r8192s_usb' modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'r8192s_usb': Function not implemented sh: 1: cannot create /sys/bus/usb/drivers/rtl819xU/new_id: Directory nonexistent modprobe: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod-module.c:959 command_do() Error running install command for r8192s_usb modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'r8192s_usb': Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) # dmesg | egrep 'net|eth|sky|sis|via|3c3|3c5|e100|8139|8169|acx|air|ath|ar91|atme|at7|herm|iwl|ipw|rtl8|r81|rt2|rt6|rt7|tg3|ssb|wl|b43|b44|ori|pri|p5|zd|ndis' [ 0.000000] original variable MTRRs [ 0.000000] BRK [0x02fe1000, 0x02fe1fff] PGTABLE [ 0.000000] PERCPU: Embedded 29 pages/cpu @ffff88022f200000 s86336 r8192 d24256 u262144 [ 0.000000] pcpu-alloc: s86336 r8192 d24256 u262144 alloc=1*2097152 [ 0.000000] Calgary: detecting Calgary via BIOS EBDA area [ 0.000000] [<ffffffff810676bd>] warn_slowpath_common+0x7d/0xa0 [ 0.000000] [<ffffffff81067774>] warn_slowpath_fmt_taint+0x44/0x50 [ 0.000000] [<ffffffff81d35941>] ? repair_env_string+0x5c/0x5c [ 0.003421] CPU0: Thermal monitoring enabled (TM1) [ 0.443956] microcode: Microcode Update Driver: v2.00 <tigran@aivazian.fsnet.co.uk>, Peter Oruba [ 0.444135] audit: initializing netlink socket (disabled) [ 0.464562] thermal LNXTHERM:00: registered as thermal_zone0 [ 0.464576] ACPI: Thermal Zone [TZ00] (28 C) [ 0.464702] thermal LNXTHERM:01: registered as thermal_zone1 [ 0.464715] ACPI: Thermal Zone [TZ01] (30 C) [ 0.487551] tun: (C) 1999-2004 Max Krasnyansky <maxk@qualcomm.com> [ 0.555913] Loaded X.509 cert 'Magrathea: Glacier signing key: 23984ac203784325ccf7b95b51f6c119380eb933' [ 0.596081] r8169 Gigabit Ethernet driver 2.3LK-NAPI loaded [ 0.596934] r8169 0000:03:00.0: can't disable ASPM; OS doesn't have ASPM control [ 0.598003] r8169 0000:03:00.0: irq 43 for MSI/MSI-X [ 0.598150] r8169 0000:03:00.0 eth0: RTL8168evl/8111evl at 0xffffc90000c7e000, 74:d4:35:5a:9c:49, XID 0c900800 IRQ 43 [ 0.599008] r8169 0000:03:00.0 eth0: jumbo features [frames: 9200 bytes, tx checksumming: ko] [ 2.465874] Adding 8300540k swap on /dev/sdb6.
