Hallihallo,
zur optimaleren Nutzung eines Konferenz-Systems (z.B. BigBlueButton) empfahlen mir Kolleginnen die Einrichtung eines zweiten Bildschirms.
Da ich gerade keinen zweiten Bildschirm zur Verfügung habe, suche ich nach Alternativen:
1.
Ließe sich ein Laptop als zweiter Bildschirm konfigurieren?
Eine VNC-Verbindung steht bereits, aber ist der Laptop auch zu einem zweiten virtuellen Desktop zu überreden? So dass z.B. auf dem Laptop eine Impress-Präsentation gezeigt werden kann, während der Hauptbildschirm die Konferenz-Oberfläche zeigt. Den Weg dorthin habe ich noch nicht gefunden. Auf dem Client (Laptop) wird stets nur die Ansicht des Host-Rechners angezeigt.
2.
Ließe sich ein Android-Tablet als zweiter Bildschirm konfigurieren?
Unter Windows soll das funktionieren, z.B.

Schließe doch einfach deinen Monitor an das Notebook. Dann hast du automatisch zwei Bildschirme. Gruß |

Also: Ob's "die" Lösung für das Konferenz-System ist, muss sich in der Praxis erweisen. Aber einen kleinen Schritt scheint die Lösung näher herangerückt zu sein. The scheme stores pixel data offscreen on the VNC viewer side for faster retrieval. It should work with any VNC viewer. Try it by running: x11vnc -ncache 10 ...
