Hallo, mein Brother mfc1910w bricht den Druckvorgang mit " drucken gestoppt" ab,
Der Drucker ist im Druckmenü als Netzwerkdrucker eingestellt die Adresse ist richtig ( 192.168.178.211), aktiviert und als bereit
vorhanden. Der Treiber für den Drucker stammt aus der Datenbank, Cups ist installiert.
weiß da jemand einen Rat. Alle meine früher gewonnenen Erkenntnisse führten bislang nicht zum Ziel mfg amles2

Hallo, Du hast also eine Fritz!Box? - und im Brother MFC-1910W die feste IP 192.168.178.211 eingestellt?
Dann kann es ja fast nur so sein, dass Du mehr als 11-VPN Verbindungen eingerichtet hast oder die DHCP-IP-RANGE der Fritz!Box zwischendurch geändert hast. Falls das alles nicht stimmt, downloade und installiere einfach mal das "Driver-Install-Tool" von hier. Die Installations-Anleitung wird beim Download automatisch angezeigt. Viel Erfolg! Hallo Kellerkind,
einen schönen Pfingsmotag. Zum Problem muss ich weiter ausholen: Ich hatte 2 SSD Festplatten im System. Zuerst Windows 10 auf der 1.SSD dann Ubuntu 18.04 LTS auf der
2. SSD. Dank deiner Hilfe in der Vergangenheitlief der Drucker Brother MFC 1910 w als Netzwerkdrucker und der gleiche Drucker als Scanner.
Die Windows 10 SSD musste ich wegen Hardwarefehler ausbauen, hatte dabei aber nicht bedacht, dass nun Ubuntu nicht mehr startet. An eine Grubreparatur habe ich mich nicht getraut, habe Ubuntu 20.04LTS von CD auf die SSD , die noch im System war installiert. Den Drucker brachte ich dort auch nicht zum Laufen. Dazu kam, Synaptic nicht mehr vorhanden unddie Suchfunktion in Ubuntusoftwarecenter fehlt auch. Da habe ich mein altes Ubuntu 18.04 LTS installiert und brachte den Drucker auch nicht mehr zum Laufen.Der Drucker ist installiert bereit zum Drucken im Netzwerk, bricht aber den Druck ab " Druck gestoppt"
Ich haber nun den Drucker Brother DCP 1200 eingeichtet.Driver:HL1250.PPD, Adresse:BRW802BF96B9EAB. Dies ict sicher nicht richtig, aber der Drucker druckt.
Scannen funktioniert nicht. MFG amles2 ich fahre am Mittwoch für 2 Wochen in den Urlaub, kann also nicht glich reagieren

Hier deine Installationsanleitung.Arbeite sie der Reihe nach ab sudo apt purge ippusbxd
mkdir -p ~/MFC-1910W
cd ~/MFC-1910W

wget https://download.brother.com/welcome/dlf006893/linux-brprinter-installer-2.2.1-1.gz
sudo dpkg -i brother-udev-rule-type1-1.0.2-0.all.deb
gunzip linux-brprinter-installer-*.*.*-*.gz
sudo bash linux-brprinter-installer-2.2.1-1 MFC-1910W
brsaneconfig4 -a name=Netzwerkscanner model=MFC-1910W nodename=BRW802BF96B9EAB Wenn alles Fehlerfrei durchläuft solltest du den richtigen Druckertreiber,sowie den Scanner verwenden können. Hallo Stephan, es ist sagenhaft! Nach abarbeiten deiner Installationsanweisung im Terminal, hat der Drucker und der Scanner sofort funktioniert.
Mir ist schleierhaft wie du die Befehlskette hingezaubert hast.
Also vielen herzlichen Dank für deine Hilfe. Ich werde mir das Script sofort kopieren und sichern.

Hall Stephan, der Pechfogel ist wieder da. Dieses Mal hat sich meine SSD mit der Ubuntuinstallation verabschiedet und mit dieser SSD auch
meine Brother MFC 1910 w Installation. Ich habe dann dein Install- Sript verwendet, der4 Drucker bleibt aber untätig.

Guten Abend Günter, das ist merkwürdig 😮 Zur Zeit ist dein Brother scheinbar über den Nodename eingerichtet hostname = [BRN802BF96B9EAB.local]
Matching printer "Brother_MFC_1910W_series" with properties Host = "BRN802BF96B9EAB.local", Port = 631 stelle ihn mal bitte auf eine Feste IP um.Lösche dann alle Brother in system-config-printer und lasse ihn danach neu Suchen und einrichten. Ob das der Weisheit letzter Schluss ist weiß ich nicht 😐 Gruß Stephan

Moin Moin Stephan, ich habe in der Zwischenzeit selber Hand an das System gelegt und dein Druckerscript teilweise nachmals
abgearbeitet - und siehe, der Drucker läuft als Netzwerkdrucker. Die Scanfunktion geht aber nur, wenn ich den Drucker an
den USB-Port anschließe. Dann configuriert das System plötzlich einen neuen Drucker und der Scanner läuft. Trenne ich den Drucker
vom USB -Port bleibt der neue Drucker zwar im System, scannt aber nicht.

Moin Günter, du wolltest mir noch brsaneconfig4 -d zeigen 😎 Schön das wir weiter kommen 😬 Hattest du am Brother selbst jetzt noch was Verändert/Eingestellt? Das er unter USB Anschluss sich nochmal einrichtet ist normal 😉 Gruß Stephan
