Hallo zusammen,
ich komme momentan nicht wirklich weiter und brauche mal Hilfe.
Ich habe einen nicht ganz neuen PC und möchte über den Parallelport und unter DosEmulator eine CNC-Maschine steuern. Kurz der Hintergrund ... Das alles lief mal unter Windows98 oder xp und ich bin weg von Windows und will es auch nicht mehr haben. Unter Windows hatte ich eine Batch die das Programm im Dos-Fenster gestartet hat. Alles keine Hexerei. Jetzt hat die Festplatte der Win-Rechner einiges auf der Festplatte oder die Festplatte selbst ist defekt.
1. neue Platte in den Rechner eingebaut ==⇒ Rechner zu schwach für Linux. OK.
2. Anderen (besseren) Rechner Ubuntu Mate Installiert ==⇒ kein zugriff auf die Parallelschnittstelle onBoard.
3. Neue PIC-Karte ==⇒ Parallelschnittstelle wird angezeigt habe kann nicht auf die Schnittstelle zugreifen ... bei der vorhandenen ProtAdressse und dem Interrupt bin ich mir nicht sicher.

kann ich mir das noch besser anzeigen lassen. Bzw. warum wir mir die andere nicht angezeigt, die ich in BiOS ativiert und man kann dort PortAdresse und Int. einstellen.
wie kann ich die Schnittstelle testen unter Linux ... zum Hardwareseitigen Test habe ich mir einen 8 bit LED Dings gebaut alle LED an Masse und die Ausgabe der Parallelschnittstelle-Pin über einen Widerstand an das andere Beinchen.
Muss ich bei / für DosBox bzw. DosEmul noch etwas freigeben ??? Sind die beiden Programme überhaupt dafür geeignet oder kennt jemand etwas besseres ???
