Hello everyone,, I want to install Ubuntu on my computer so it can run alongside Windows. I installed the wubi.exe file on on the website, but when I run the installer I get this error: "The boot configuration data store could not be opened. The system cannot find the file specified." I have been looking for an answer for the past hour but I cant seem to find anything. Some people say I have a 100mb partition on my hard drive that holds all the boot files and I need to add a letter to that partition. The problem is I dont seem to have that partition. Has anyone encountered this problem before???

Wubi is old ass software. Use the official images for 20.04 or the netboot installer. Do not use 19.10, this is also completely outdated. |
