Hallo, ich habe ein Problem beim Scannen. Scanimage -L erkennt das Geraet, aber ein Versuch zu scannen, bricht mit einer Fehlermeldung ab. Es handelt sich ueber einen per WLAN abgebundenen HP Deskjet 2700.

Für HP-Drucker muss man zuerst einmal die neueste hplip-Version installieren: https://developers.hp.com/hp-linux-imaging-and-printing Nach dem Download muss man die Datei zuerst einmal ausführbar machen. Dann geht man ins Terminal und gibt ohne Root-Rechte sh *.run ein. Der Rest erklärt sich von selbst. Irgendwann wird das Root-Kennwort verlangt. Alle Abhängigkeiten werden automatich aufgelöst. Das installiert dann auch einen grafischen Einrichtungs-Assistenten. Dort kann man dann den Drucker und Scanner konfigurieren. So sieht er aus:

Davon mal ab,wie manuel-werner schon schrieb ist deine HPLIP zu alt ii hplip 3.20.3+dfsg0-2 dein HP braucht mindestens 3.20.5 und das Proprietäre Plugin 😛 Nachtrag Da du scheinbar auch zu denen gehörst die ihre Threads nicht bedienen z.b https://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/wlan-geht-ploetzlich-nicht-mehr-5/ klinke ich mich hier auch wieder aus – ich mag das nämlich nicht 😉

scanimage: sane_read: Error during device I/O Der Scanner fährt die Seite ab, bleibt am anderen Ende stehen und alle LED außer der für das WLAN blinken. Das Gerät kann durch Druck auf den Einschaltknopf zurückgesetzt werden. scanimage -d escl:http://192.168.178.22:8080 >test-escl.pnm

scanimage: rounded value of br-y from 0 to 0 Der Scanner bleibt wieder am anderen Ende stehen, alles friert ein. Wenn ich versuche, mit STRG-C abzubrechen, kommt folgende Meldung:

scanimage: trying to stop scanner Am Gerät tut sich nichts. Wenn ich nun auf den Einschaltknopf des Gerätes drücke, fängt die darin befindliche LED an zu blinken und geht nach einiger Zeit aus, ebenso das Scanner-Licht. Erst wenn ich das Gerät einschalte, fährt der Scanner in die Ruheposition zurück. id

Füge dich zu den Gruppen lp und scanner hinzu mit sudo adduser $USER lp sudo adduser $USER scanner Starte neu und zeige dpkg -l | egrep HP hp-setup -i

under certain conditions. See COPYING file for more details. dpkg -l | egrep HP Weiterhin die 3.20.3. Irgendetwas läuft da bei der Installation der 3.20.6 schief. Ich habe bis auf den letzten Punkt (usb7net) immer den Default ausgewählt.

Bin ja so ein wenig Traurig 😕 Ich weiß auch nicht wie oft ich es schon hier im Forum geschrieben habe ... Wenn man die .run Installiert sollte/muß die Hplip aus den Quellen erst entfernt werden – ansonsten kommen seeehr oft solche Probleme wie bei dir zu Tage 😉 Entferne zuerst die 3.20.6 wieder,dann die aus den Offiziellen Paketen.Es muss so sein als wenn HPLIP nie auf dem PC war. Bekommst das hin? Bei Problemen/Fragen melde dich vorher. Gruß

Ich habe inzwischen festgestellt, dass das Scannen auch unter Windows nicht funktioniert. Deswegen habe ich den Fall jetzt dem Support von HP übergeben. So wie es aussieht, werde ich das Gerät wohl einschicken müssen. Kann es sein, dass die Linux-Software von HP Code auf das Gerät hochlädt, was möglicherweise gescheitert ist?

Nein.
Ich habe inzwischen festgestellt, dass das Scannen auch unter Windows nicht funktioniert. Deswegen habe ich den Fall jetzt dem Support von HP übergeben.
Also wenn es schon unter Windows nicht läuft ....
So wie es aussieht, werde ich das Gerät wohl einschicken müssen.
