Sehr geehrtes Forum,
kurz zur Vorgeschichte... Vor einigen Tagen habe ich meinen PC (Kubuntu 18.04 LTS) gestartet und bin im initramfs gelandet. Nach einem "chdsk /dev/sda2 -y" ging der PC wieder zu starten. Leider funktioniert die USB-Tastatur nicht mehr. Die USB-Maus, welche über PS2 angeschlossen ist, funktioniert tadellos. Die Tastatur wird in lsusb erkannt. Das TastaturLayout ist "de" und "105"Tasten...
"localctl status" gibt folgendes aus:

Wenn ich sddm bzw. X beende, funktioniert die Tastatur wieder (z.B. für Console..)
Ist aus der log-Datei ersichtlich, wo die Einbindung der Tastatur hängt? Die .xkm-Datei in /var/lib/xkb/ ist auf diesem Computer nicht vorhanden. Wer/welches Programm erstellt diese? Kann ich die .xkm-Datei von einem anderen PC "übernehmen" oder selbst generieren?
...bin mit meinem Linux-Latein am Ende, scheue aktuell jedoch noch eine Neuinstallation...
