Hallo!
Ich habe vor ein paar Tagen Ubuntu Mate Focal Fossa installiert. Zunächst funktionierte alles, bis ich Ubuntu über den Aktualisierungsmanager aktualisiert habe. Beim nächsten Start bekam ich keine Internetverbindung mehr. Das Netzwerk wurde zwar erkannt, aber nicht verbunden.
Daraufhin habe ich gestern alles noch einmal neu installiert (diesmal mit den Aktualisierungen schon im Installationsprozess). Während der Installation war ich mit dem Netzwerk verbunden. Nach dem erforderlichen Neustart aber nicht mehr.
Das WLAN/Internet an sich geht. Habe ich mit anderen Geräten probiert.
Leider hat mein Router keinen LAN-Ausgang, nur USB. Also kann ich auch nicht über diesen Weg aktualisieren oder zusätzliche Software herunterladen.
Welche Möglichkeit gibt es, den Netzwerkzugang zu reparieren?

Das Modul ath9k deutet auf einen älteren Atheros-Chipsatz. Teste echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf
sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k
sudo modprobe -v ath9k Ändere zusätzlich im Router die Verschlüsselung von gemischtem WPA/WPA2 auf reines WPA2. Danach jeweils neu verbinden

Teste echo "options ath9k nohwcrypt=1" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf
sudo modprobe -rfv ath9k
sudo modprobe -v ath9k Habe ich probiert.
Jetzt hat sich das Netzwerk wohl ganz ausgeschalten. Es werden keine Netzwerke mehr angezeigt

Hallo Iguanna02, Erstmal die Verschlüsselung im Router auf reine WPA2 (AES/CCMP) stellen. TKIP ist unsicher und in ca. 3 Min. geknackt. Dann Ausgabe von: cat /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf Gruss Lidux

also die verschlüsselung habe ich nun umgestellt, aber
| cat /etc/modprobe.d/ath9k.conf
|
bringt nur die meldung "Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden" grüße, Iguanna P.S: ich habe nun den Computer über mein Handy mit dem WLAN verbunden, aber auch durch erneute Aktualisierungen keine Abhilfe geschaffen....

ps aux | grep -i [d]hc
dmesg | grep -iE 'wl|dhc|fail|error'
, wenn dein Computer per WLAN verbunden ist, aber keine IP-Adresse zugewiesen bekommen hat?
