Das Netzwerkkabel wurde nicht mehr erkannt. Ich habe den Rechner neu gestartet, dann war das Flugzeugsymbol rechts oben zu sehen. Dann habe ich den Rechner nochmal neu gestartet, dann war das Netzwerksymbol rechts oben nicht mehr zu sehen. Unter Einstellungen/Netzwerk war der Eintrag "Kabelgebunden" nicht mehr aufgeführt. Es blinkt aber eine orange Lampe, wo das Netzwerkkabel eingesteckt ist. Wenn ich Ubuntu von einem Live-USB-Stick starte, wird das Netzwerkkabel auch nicht erkannt. Mit einem anderen Netzwerkkabel geht es auch nicht. Bei einem anderen Computer funktioniert das Netzwerkkabel aber. Wenn ich aber einen USB-Netzwerk-Adapter in den USB-Port stecke und dort das Netzwerkkabel einstecke, dann wird es erkannt, auch mit dem Live-USB-Stick. Es sieht also so aus, also ob die Buchse im Computer kaputt wäre. Ist es möglich, dass dies ein Software-Problem ist und ich z. B. über das Terminal die Netzwerk-Buchse wieder ansprechbar mache?

Das ist vermutlich der Ethernet/USB-Stick, denn per … lspci -nnk […] … wird kein Ethernet-Adapter als PCI-Gerät erkannt. Entweder ist die Hardware defekt oder sie wurde im Bios deaktiviert. Schaue dort nach. Wenn das Bios meint, es wäre ein UEFI, schaue trotzdem dort nach. |

Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, was Du damit meinst, ob es ein UEFI sei. Jedenfalls bin ich alle Menüs im Bios durchgegangen und habe keine Option gefunden, um ein Netzwerk oder ein Ethernet-Adapter zu aktivieren oder zu deaktivieren. Es scheint mir daher keine Einstellung im Bios zu sein. Hat noch einer eine Idee? Ansonsten werde ich die Buchse als defekt akzeptieren. |
