Hallo, bzw. guten Morgen,
mein Monitor, ein 24 Zoll Terra 2450W, wird nicht erkannt. Auflösung war im Normalfall 1960 x 1024. Es ist ein Dual-Boot System.
Mit VGA Verbinding wird die Bootauswahl angezeigt. Mit DVI verbindung nicht, weil es zu lange dauert bis das Auswahlbild erscheint. Standard sind im jetzigen, defekten Zustand 1024 x 762 Auflösung
Dann herausgefunden das mit den Befehlen

eine Auflösung bis zu 1600 x 1200 händisch eingegeben werden kann. Höher es geht nicht. Verschiedene Versuche die Auflösung in Grub fest einzutragen um nicht nach jedem Neustart die Prozedur wieder durch zu führen, scheiterte.
Benötigt wird nur das fett markierte. Dann entweder VGA oder DVI, je nach Kabel.
Der Monitor wurde unter Ubuntu und Windows mehr nicht erkannt, seit ich versuchte über Uefi Installation eine neue Version aufzuspielen. Vorher funktionierte er ca. 6 Jahre einwandfrei.
Die Edid scheint zu fehlen. Das Mb. ist es nicht, weil ich das gestern mitsamt der CPU getauscht habe. Die Grafikkarte ist onboard. Zudem einen kleinen Monitor besorgt mit VGA und DVI Anschluß. Der wurde sofort erkannt, der Name angezeigt und die max Auflädung automatisch geladen.

Fraageeeh: Da komme ich nicht weiter. Was muss/ kann ich tun um eine edid für den Monitor zu bekommen?
