Ich habe da ein Problem mit einer neuen Netzwerkkarte und Bluetooth. (Laptop)

Original war eine Atheros AR5B225 verbaut, mit BT 4.0 die hat funktioniert, war aber vom Netzwerk her lahm.

Dann habe ich mir eine Intel AC7265 mit BT 4.2 gekauft, das Wlan ist top und stabil, nur BT ist nicht vorhanden.

Nicht vorhanden bedeutet, die Hardware existiert nicht, egal was man im Terminal abfragt.(Getestet mit 20.04, 22.04 und 23.04)

Alle anderen Intel AC7265 im Netz, haben BT 4.0 und einen anderen Sockel.

Kann es sein das BT nicht funktioniert wegen 4.2 ?

Die Sockel der alten und der neuen Karte sind gleich mit einer Kerbe, die anderen Karten im Netz haben 2 Kerben.(sehen aber auch eher aus als ob sie nicht "half size" sind, könnte auf den Bildern aber auch täuschen.

PS: Ich weiß das 20.04 keinen Support mehr hat, wird in Kürze auf 22.04 gehoben, das ist hier aber unwichtig.

Hab das mal getestet, mit alter Karte:

lsusb | grep -v -i hub 
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 5986:02d3 Acer, Inc 
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 0489:e036 Foxconn / Hon Hai 

Also kann der Steckplatz USB.

Das mit den Steckplätzen konnte ich inzwischen klären, eine Kerbe Mini PCI Express, 2 Kerben M2.

Somit kommt M2 bei meinem Gerät nicht in Frage.

Ich hab mir heute mal die Spezifikation zu Mini PCIe angesehen, da ist USB Standard (Pin 38 USB_D+,Pin 36 USB_D-) .

Der Händler schickt mir nun eine neue Karte, mal sehen ob die dann funktioniert.

Falls bis dahin noch jemand eine Idee hat, immer her damit.

Die Ausgaben könnte ich zwar posten, das würde aber keinen Sinn machen, zu einer nicht existierenden Hardware, gibt es keine.

Wie ich oben schon schrieb, der BT Teil der Karte wird schlicht nicht erkannt.

Wenn Du das schon so genau weißt und Dir offenbar auch nicht vorstellen kannst, das andere Dir vielleicht doch einen Tipp geben könnten, wenn sie die Ausgabe der vorgeschlagenen Diagnose-Befehle bekommen würden, warum fragst Du dann überhaupt hier?

Wenn Du das schon so genau weißt und Dir offenbar auch nicht vorstellen kannst, das andere Dir vielleicht doch einen Tipp geben könnten, wenn sie die Ausgabe der vorgeschlagenen Diagnose-Befehle bekommen würden, warum fragst Du dann überhaupt hier?

Weil ich mir zum Zeitpunkt des Erstellens noch nicht sicher war.

Wenn ich zB. rfkill zeigen würde, dann würde man sehen, das dort nur das Wlan gelistet ist, aber eben kein BT.

Das selbe mit lsusb, das hatten wir ja weiter oben schon, ebenfalls kein BT.

Ich gehe davon aus, das die Karte schlicht defekt ist und warte auf den Ersatz.

Sollte die neue Karte auch nicht funktionieren, dann kann man hier weitermachen.

So dann machen wir hier mal weiter.

Ich habe eine Intel 7260 in meinem Fundus gefunden, die auch Dualband AC und BT können soll laut Intel.

Die macht aber im 5 GHZ nur 300 statt 866.7 Mb/s und auch kein BT, obwohl sie das können soll.

Nun hab ich die 7265 wieder eingebaut, die macht wenigstens die 866.7 Mb/s, aber eben auch kein BT.

Laut hier: https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/WLAN/Karten/Intel/ soll die aber out of the Box mit BT funktionieren, tut sie aber nicht.

Wie man sieht, gibt es hier wohl keine schlauen Beiträge mehr, weil nicht existierende Hardware nun mal nicht zu analysieren ist.

Im Intel Supportforum habe ich einen Beitrag gefunden, wo ein User das gleiche Problem hatte, wenn auch unter Windows.

Der hat herausgefunden, das das Bios wohl über 2 Pins der Karte Bluetooth ausgeschaltet hatte, nach dem er die beiden Pins abgeklebt hatte, funktionierte Bluetooth.

Seine Karte war zwar auch eine 7265, hatte aber leider einen M2 Sockel, somit war diese Lösung bei meiner Karte nicht anwendbar.

Ich habe dort trotzdem mal angefragt, ob jemand evtl. eine Lösung für die Karte mit PCIe hat, mal sehen ob da was kommt.

Ich hab mir jetzt einen USB BT 5.1 Dongle für 4,59€ gekauft, bei dem ganz klar stand, das er nicht für Linuc und Mac OSx geeignet ist.

Der funktioniert aber bestens unter 22.04, lustiger Weise stand auf der Packung dann doch OSx aber nicht Linux.

Somit habe ich wieder BT, aber der Beitrag hier bleibt erst mal ungelöst.

Haben diese Rechner "Laptop ist ein Sony Vaio SVE1713U1EB" nicht zufällig an der linken Vorderseite einen mechan. Schiebeschalter ?

Ein Windows starten und das BT aktivieren ....

Nein kein Schalter und selbst wenn, wäre der für Wlan, das funktioniert ja.

Ein Windows starten und das BT aktivieren ....

Hatte kurz ein Windows 7 drauf laufen, das erkennt weder Netzwerk noch Wlan Karte, das war mir dann zu blöd.

Aber wie gesagt, der BT Teil der Karte wird ja offenbar vom Board nicht mal erkannt, sonst würde man das ja über lsusb sehen.
