Hallo zusammen, vorweg gesagt, ich bin ziemlicher Neuling in Linux und daher bitte ich um Nachsicht. Ich bin auch neu in diesem Forum und habe nichts zu meinem konkreten Problem gefunden und bin die letzten Tage stundenlang diverse Tipps und Lösungsvorschläge durchgegangen. Deswegen der neue Thread. Wie der Titel schon sagt habe ich Probleme mit dem Sound an meinem Laptop.
Die Soundwiedergabe funktioniert über den Kopfhöreranschluss einwandfrei. Sobald ich die internen Lautsprecher benutzen möchte, absolute Stille obwohl mir unter pavucontrol der Wiedergabe-Balken angezeigt wird. Hier erstmal bisschen was zu meinem System: Ubuntu 19.10

1642 ? 00:00:05 pulseaudio Ich habe folgendes schon erfolglos probiert: sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf ich habe in der .conf aufgrund ähnlicher Probleme aus anderen Forenbeiträgen, ans Ende folgende Zeile gehängt, mit diversen model=? Angaben...ohne Erfolg. options-hda-intel model=auto anstatt auto habe ich u.a. "acer, ref, test, default, usw..." probiert, aber da in der Modelliste die ich gefunden habe meine ALC255 Karte nicht zu finden ist, blieb mir nur das wilde rumprobieren ob evtl. andere model Bezeichnungen helfen. Ausserdem habe ich natürlich zu allererst geprüft ob im alsamixer irgendetwas gemutet ist, habe den "automute" auf disable gestellt, alle Balken auf maximal gestellt, ohne Erfolg. Ich habe auch pavucontrol installiert und geprüft ob mir da etwas komisch vorkommt und auch mit den Einstellungen rumgespielt.
Das kuriose ist das ich beim Abspielen einer Audiodatei oder eines Videos, sehe wie sich der Soundbalken unter pavucontrol bewegt, aber zu hören ist nichts. So langsam bin ich echt mit meinem Anfänger Latein am Ende und hoffe sehr das mir irgendwer weiter helfen kann, da ich echt nicht zu Windows zurück möchte. Gruß,

Willkommen im Forum ☺ Lese dir bitte noch mal wegen den Terminal Ausgaben codeblock durch 💡 Es gibt für Acer und deinen Soundchip eine Option.Die Testen wir mal mit echo -e "options snd-hda-intel model=alc255-acer" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf Neustart. Falls keine Besserung zeige mal bitte ohne eingestecktem Kopfhörer nach Neustart dmesg | egrep -i "alsa|snd|hdmi" amixer -c 0 scontents

Ich hatte vorher in meinen Selbstversuchen
sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
benutzt und dort am Ende "options snd-hda-intel model=acer" eingefügt.
Soll ich deinen Vorschlag, also "options snd-hda-intel model=alc255-acer" auch in die .conf einfügen oder hab ich das falsch verstanden? lg

ich weiss nicht genau was du meinst, weil im alsamixer steht nichts von "front left, front right" etc..
ich habe jetzt einfach mal ein screenshot vom mixer gemacht. Hoffentlich hilft der weiter. Ach und die Zeile aus der ".conf" die ich hinzugefügt hatte, habe ich wieder raus und neugestartet.
Nach wie vor kein Sound. Ich habe gerade sudo alsa reload benutzt in der Hoffnung das es was bewirkt.
Kann es sein das nach dem reload der mixer diverse Einstellungen wie den "automute" wieder auf "enable" stellt?

Deine Versuche solltest du jetzt mal kurz lassen – könnten uns sonst im Kreis drehen 💡 Öffne ein Terminal und gebe das hier ein alsactl monitor stecke nun den Kopfhörer 2x rein und raus und zeige die Ausgabe des Terminals.

Ich auch nicht 😀 Da haben wir kein Einfluss drauf. Lade dir mal diese Version hier runter http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/releases/18.04.1/ Erstelle ein Stick/DVD um es im Live Modus zu Testen.Wie ist es mit dem Sound dort?

hatte ich vergessen zu erwähnen...die Version hatte ich vor meiner jetzigen schon.
Weder auf dem Live-Stick, noch in der installierten Version hatte ich da Erfolg.
