Hallo ihr Lieben, habe oben genannten Stick von 1und1. Am Anfang ging garnichts, ich hab dann das USB-Modeswitch installiert und mich erstmal an der UMTS-CHeckliste (http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Mobiler_Datentransfer/UMTS-Checkliste)orientiert. Weiter habe ich die udev-Regel(http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/USB_ModeSwitch#udev-Regel-erstellen)und die HAL-Regel erstellt (http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/bin-neu-und-will-vodafone-umts-stick-nutzen/#post-2638119). Dann ging das Ding erstmal eine Weile, hat dann aber immer öfter angefangen Zicken zu machen, die letzten Tage lief er garnicht mehr.... Meist wird er beim Hochfahren im Datenträgermodus erkannt, und das ändert sich auch durch den sudo service udev reload nicht, obwohl der Befehl am ANfang funktioniert hat. Heute hab das alles nochmal gemacht bzw überprüft. Außerdem hab ich mich noch selbst der Gruppe dip zugeordnet und probiert den Datenträgermodus abzuschalten (http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/zte-k3565-z-zum-laufen-kriegen/#post-2181226). Dabei hab ich den Befehl in der angegebenen Version für Netbooks eingegeben und den Zugriff auf USB3 verweigert bekommen, obwohl ich den sudo-Befehl davor gesetzt habe. Achso, die PLMN-Kennung hab ich auch noch eingetragen..... Offen gestanden bin ich ziemlich mit meinem Latein am Ende.... Kann mir wer helfen? Wär euch sehr verbunden, Viele Grüße Sebastian

Hallo lesperon, ich hab dann das USB-Modeswitch installiert
welche Version von USB ModeSwitch hast du installiert? Unter 10.04 wird meines Wissens jene, die unter USB_ModeSwitch#PPA angegeben ist, benötigt. Weiter habe ich die udev-Regel(http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/USB_ModeSwitch#udev-Regel-erstellen)und die HAL-Regel erstellt (http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/bin-neu-und-will-vodafone-umts-stick-nutzen/#post-2638119).
Dir ist bewusst, dass die Regel unter USB_ModeSwitch#udev-Regel-erstellen für Huawei-Sticks gedacht ist ? Die Regel würde ich wieder entfernen, kann ein Grund sein, warum dein Stick nicht funktioniert. Meist wird er beim Hochfahren im Datenträgermodus erkannt, und das ändert sich auch durch den sudo service udev reload nicht, obwohl der Befehl am ANfang funktioniert hat.
Der Befehl
sudo service udev reload
weckt bei dir glaube ich falsche Erwartungen. Diesen Befehl brauchst du nur einmalig nach der Änderung einer udev-Regel (s. udev#Neustart-des-udev-Systems), wenn du den Rechner nicht neu starten möchtest. Dabei hab ich den Befehl in der angegebenen Version für Netbooks eingegeben und den Zugriff auf USB3 verweigert bekommen, obwohl ich den sudo-Befehl davor gesetzt habe.
Wundert mich nicht,
handelt es sich in der Beschreibung um einen anderen ZTE-Stick, bei deinem Stick gbt es meines Wissens kein /dev/ttyUSB3, sondern nur /dev/ttyUSB2 diesen Befehl kann man im Datenträgermodus nicht absetzen. d.h.: der Stick muss sich bereits im Modemmodus befinden, dann kannst du damit das Rückschalten in den Datenträgermodus nach dem Neuanstecken verhindern. Aber Achtung! ❗ Das verhindert unter Windows die automatische Treiberinstallation, falls der Treiber noch nicht installiert ist.

hier posten. edit2: Sehe gerade, dass es hier bereits einen Thread von dir zu diesem Thema gab. Was hat sich seither verändert ?

Ansonsten bin ich mir ziemlich sicher das USB-Modeswitch PPA installiert zu haben. Bei der HAL-Regel habe ich darauf geachtet die richtige Vendor und Product-ID einzutragen. Ist die Regel trotzdem falsch? Seit dem letzten Eintrag hat sich eigentlich nicht viel verändert. Am Anfang lief das ziemlich gut. Stick rein, die PIN wird abgefragt, eingeben, lossurfen. Aber nach ein paar Tagen wollte der immer weniger und irgendwann garnicht mehr. Mir war das garnicht erklärlich. Manchmal gings besser wenn der Stick vor dem Hochfahren schon drin war. Gestern ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Datei 10-modem.fdi in /etc/hal/fdi/information nicht existiert hat. Hab sie dann da hinkopiert. Wenn sie die ganze Zeit nicht da war, hätte es doch garnicht funktionieren dürfen, oder? hhhmmmmmmm........

Also ich weiß jetzt grad nicht weiter. Wegen dem ändern der udev-Regel warte ich mal noch. hab ich wirklich die falsche wenn ich die richtige vendor und product-ID eingetragen habe? Ich meine auch ganz am Anfang das USB-Modeswitch schonmal anders installiert zu haben. Kann es sein dass ich sozusagen die alte Version laufen habe ohne es zu merken? Ratlos..... Bei dieser Ausgabe befindet sich dein Stick im Modemmodus. Mit USB ModeSwitch kann dein aktuelles Prolem also nichts zu tun haben. Wegen dem ändern der udev-Regel warte ich mal noch. hab ich wirklich die falsche wenn ich die richtige vendor und product-ID eingetragen habe?
Ja, weil der angebene Umschaltbefehl für ZTE-Modems meiner Meinung nach nicht geeignet ist und im besten Fall wirkungslos ist. Ich weiß nicht, welche VendorID und ProductID du angegeben hast, die VendorID wäre 19d2 und ProductID wäre 2000. Wenn der Stick als ProductID 0117 hat, ist er ohnedies bereits im Modemmodus und eine udev-Regel mit ProductID 0117 auch aus diesem Grund im besten Fall überflüssig. Am Anfang lief das ziemlich gut. Stick rein, die PIN wird abgefragt, eingeben, lossurfen.
Und jetzt erfolgt keine PIN-Code-Abfrage mehr? Nach Fehlversuchen ist es übrigens hilfreich den Stick ab und anzustecken, um wirklich alle Vorgänge neu zu starten.

0 aktualisiert, 0 neu installiert, 0 zu entfernen und 0 nicht aktualisiert. Außerdem hab ich mal die PIN-Abfrage ausgestellt. Jetzt leuchtet er nach dem Anstecken immer bald grün. Leider funktioniert er aber nicht immer. Manchmal wird nichtmal im Netzwerkmanager die moble Breitband-Verbindung angezeigt. Jetzt grade funktioniert er mal wieder, insofern bin ich auf jeden fall weiter. Aber vorher hatte ich ihn drei, viermal angesteckt und er hat nicht funktioniert. Ich kann keine Regelmäßigkeit ausmachen, sehe nicht wo der Unterschied zwischen diesem Mal und denen davor ist....:-X Jemand ne Idee?

wobei es da ja vor allem um die Kabelverbindung auto etho zu gehen scheint..... oder? Am Ende steht ja schon was von USB Device, aber was das jetzt heißt....??? Ansonsten leuchtet die lampe am Stick grün und die Verbindung 1unsd1 connection 1 wird mir oben nicht angezeigt...

Reihenfolge sollte so sein, dass
sudo NM_PPP_DEBUG=1 /usr/sbin/NetworkManager --no-daemon
der letzte von vier Befehlen ist, aber in einem zusätzlichen Terminal ausgeführt wird und danach solltest du dann den Stick anstecken und versuchen eine Verbindung aufzubauen. Was man hier schon sieht, ist, dass der erste Zugriff auf ttyUSB1 erfolgt. Unter 10.04 wird aber bei deinem Stick nur ttyUSB2 für den Verbindungsaufbau benötigt. Wäre ein Indiz, dass die Zurodnung über die HAL-Regel nicht funktioniert. NetworkManager: <info> (ttyUSB1): new GSM device (driver: 'option1')

OK, hab die Reihenfolge ein gehalten: erst die drei Befehle, dann in einem anderen Terminal der andere Befehl, dann den Stick rein. Ergebnis: funktioniert problemlos! Leider denk ich das wird nicht immer so sein.... Hier erstmal die Ausgaben von den beiden Terminals, dann probier ichs nochmal... root@sebastian-laptop:~# sudo service network-manager stop

Also ich hab jetzt den Stick einfach nochmal raus und so wieder rein, da hat er garnichts getan, noch nicht mal im Network-Manager die Verbindung angezeigt. Dann hab ich nochmal die drei + einen Befehle eingegeben und dann den Stick reingesteckt. Es kam in beiden Terminals genau das selbe Ergebnis raus wie bei der ersten Runde und der Stick tut auch grade was er soll..... Werd mal sehen wies klappt wenn ich ihn neu starte....

wobei der Stick jetzt wieder funktioniert. Es ist wie verhext, sobald ich diese Befehle zum protokollieren eingebe, läuft er, sobald ich "nur" surfen will macht er zicken....☹ Oder bild ich mir das nur ein...?

nein, das Problem kann schon auch sein, dass die zeiltliche Abfolge zwischen NetworkManager und deinem Modem beim Starten nicht zusammenpasst. Hast du "automatisch verbinden" im Profil der Verbindung ausgewählt? Wenn ja, deaktiviere das bitte und verbinde durch Anklicken mit der Maus manuell. Du kannst auch versuchen den NetworkManager ohne Protokolle neu zu starten:
sudo service network-manager stop
sudo killall modem-manager
sudo service network-manager start
und damit vielleicht auch erfolgreich verbinden.

OK, also ich hatte "automatisch verbinden" auch vorher nicht ausgewählt. hab jetzt den Stick rein, der Netzwerkmanager hat mir die 1und1-Verbindung oben nicht angezeigt. Dann einzeln und hintereinander die drei Befehle eingegeben, worauf er sich sofort mit der Kabelverbindung verbunden hat, aber nicht mit dem Stick.
Hab das Ganze auch nochmal probiert ohne dass das Kabel dringesteckt hat, da hat er dann nur die W-LANs gefunden aber die Verbindung über den Stick auch nicht hergestellt....
Hab dann jetzt grad nochmal die Sache mit den vier Befehlen zum dokumentieren gemacht, mit dem Ergebnis dass ich übder den Stick verbinden konnte..... Hier mal noch die Ausgaben:

Kommt dir das sinnvoll vor?
